Excellent service and empathy with our very old blind bulldog who has not a clue of what’s going on. Thank you.

Wonderful caring vet (Irina? sorry if I have this wrong) who was so caring with my cat and took the time to explain about my cat's diet. The reception staff are lovely and friendly. Attractive, modern interior design too. Thank you for a great service.

I'd just like to thank the vets and staff for the excellent treatment my dog JoJo received this week, nothing was too much trouble. This is the second occasion you have just blown me away with your professional and caring attitude towards my dog. Thank you so much I just want to thank all the vets, nurses and all the staff at the hospital for the way they have looked after my greyhound Jojo this week. The care she has received has been out of this world and I'll never be able to thank you enough, I've been kept informed of treatment on a daily basis, regular calls and texts which mean so much when your at home worried sick. You are a credit to your profession so well done and thanks again for everything

I have been using New Priory vets at Peacehaven for 4 years now. I find all the staff from the vets to the nurses to reception staff to be helpful, friendly and very professional. I have never left without being totally happy and satisfied with the care my dogs have received. They provided a first aid course recently for pets which was fantastic. They also have a 24 hospital in Brighton which provides peace of mind. I cannot recommend them enough.

UPDATE: You can't even get through on the phone without an automated option system, then being put in a queue and on hold indefinitely. Sadly, not what it used to be. Practice moved without even telling longstanding customer. Unbelievably unhelpful receptionist needs seriously training on customer care. If you define good vet care as charging as much as possible then I'd give five stars!

Sadly had to come here as my dog had passed away but they have been so so lovely and kept me informed. I have to say they really have helped so much with this very sad time. Wonderful staff

I was only here as I was taking a neighbours pet to visit the vet. They seemed very pleasant and very helpful. The button to access the front door could be made easier to find, as so many people struggled to find while I was there

Great vets but the reception staff are rude jobsworths, consistently chastising us for breaking rules that they've made up but not told us about. During lockdown, they would text you a link to the invoice after an appointment and then you'd pay online. When they changed it back (and appointments were still being held outside at this point), they didn't tell us and told us off for not making payment to a member of staff. On another occasion, they didn't let us know some medication was available to collect and then were annoyed when we turned up "late" to collect it! More recently, our dog has just had a nasty eye ulcer that took nearly 2 months to sort out. We've been going to the Brighton branch, as they have an eye specialist and, because we were going there at least once a week, the team told us to just pay at the end of the treatment. The final visit was today, at the Peacehaven branch, and they treated me like a criminal for not having paid sooner! When I told them of the agreement we'd made with other staff, they denied such an agreement would have been made. I was annoyed but told them I would settle the invoice as soon as I got home, as the cost was nearly £900 and my bank tend to decline such large card payments. They acted like I was trying to rob them, and insisted I paid them as much as possible then and there. What did they think I was going to do, immediately sell my house and move away to avoid paying their bill? We have a number of animals and have spent thousands with them over the past 2 years, never leaving invoices unpaid. The least I expect is for the staff to use some common sense and to treat their customers with a basic level of respect.
