Ordered a battery (odd size) online in the early morning. Picked it up by mid morning - it was already on the counter - was just all so quick and easy to do.
Ordered the wrong part, in a tizz I forgot to take the payment receipt from the desk and when I returned to change it no one wanted to help or see what I paid by card even tho I had the email of proof. Then I spoke to Brad, he was willing to listen and said if I proven I paid by card with the day I came in he would check the system and exchange it for the right part. Putting himself in the same situation he could see what it would be extremely hard to fund that part again. Brad spoke to the young lad at the desk and suggested checking the system and the lads attitude changed completely. Brad had clear and an understanding attitude and went out of his way to help. He even checked the a few websites to see if this new part was correct. Really appreciated- thank you!

Back in the day you used to send the new apprentice to the parts counter to ask for a long stand. That reminds me of my visit today - waited for some time at the counter to be served while members of staff wandered in and out and around the stores and totally ignored me. I gave up waiting and left. A bell on the counter might be a good start. GSF previously had a store in Shrewsbury but closed it - I can begin to see why.
