My 5 year old son is so happy with his hair cut the gentleman who cut his hair was so good with him and was very understanding and gentle towards him. I'm happy as I now have a very happy child who is now very excited to want to go back again.

I have been to this place many times and each time it gets worse. The lady barber is terrible at cutting hair and has a terrible attitude to match. She has messed up my hair on two occasions now and it seems the other barbers are happy enough to let her cut hair whilst they smoke or have a conversation. They only take cash and their prices are high, but these things would not matter if they could cut hair properly. I must now try to rectify their mistakes at another barber although will have to lay low and wait for my sideburns to grow back before i go out as they are assymetrical now. Really really poor. Do yourself a favour and go anywhere else.
Extremely rude and very unprofessional!!! Avoid like the plague!!! Took my 5 year old for a hair cut. First of all they only take cash which is quite mind boggling in a post pandemic world. The lady was extremely rude. She asked what I wanted, I told her fade on the sides and back and a shape up, plus a little trim on the top. I requested her leave the top long. she started demanding for a clipper size. Which I didn’t know, so I showed her a picture of his last hair cut. She then questioned me on what clipper size they had used. I again responded, I don’t know but this is roughly what I am looking for. She quickly started cutting and and then started combing my child’s hair with no regard to being gentle and continuously pulling. I had to say ‘gently’ multiple times. I could see my sons eyes slightly tear up, but he held himself together. No longer than 5/10 minutes she stated she was done, I looked and stated the back was not well faded. And she started telling me off and asking if I was a barber. And that it is faded. I responded that whilst I wasn’t a barber, this isn’t my child’s first hair cut and I know what it should look like. She kept being rude and kept using the clippers making his hair shorter and shorter. I asked her to stop and she replied if it’s not good she should finish. However she was not fading his hair she was cutting out of spite. I told her to stop immediately and clean the hair as we are done. The gentleman that was next to her cleaned him up. Whilst apologising. She then started saying the price was now £12 instead of the £9 on the board. I gave the guy at the cashier £10 note. I went to another barber to help fix my child’s hair cut. DO NOT RECOMMEND, I have never left such a negative review. Bad hair cuts happen but the rudeness and the disregard of what I wanted for my child is what made me leave this review.
The place was clean and neatly maintained. Had a nice fade cut. The barbers are experienced and did the job very well. The prices are not what it was mentioned in the website, so enquire before hand. I was charged £16 for a haircut.
Easily one of the best barbers in Northampton Town Centre, great friendly service by skilled, attentive barbers in a relaxed environment. Went in for a beard tidy up and hair trim, walked out looking great. Update! Really dissatisfied with last visit, service wasn't so good, empty shop, but felt rushed, after leaving still had little bits of hair on my face from where they used electric razor and bits of stubble were flying everywhere! they didn't even bother to brush them off my face properly! No hot towel, and not nearly close enough with the cutthroat razor against the skin! Hard to tell in dimly lit shop, had to fix it up myself with a BIC Razor when I got home.
Great group of lads. Always welcoming and always friendly. Have been going to them for a couple of months now and never have they left me dissatisfied, nor have I ever witnessed them give anyone a bad cut. Always pay for a full service as they are great value for money and will go above and beyond to make sure you leave happy. Will always return to these guys. Turkish barbers do it best!
