I was only dropping in but felt very welcomed and enjoyed the atmosphere of the gym for bjj. The class was well structured with drilling, positional and sparring to finish. The gym also has fantastic equipment for working out. Thank you Antoni for the class.
Joined Koning 12 months ago and it has completely changed the way I view the gym. Every member is friendly, welcoming and helpful - a fantastic all round atmosphere full of motivating people. Can’t recommend Koning, Helton and Rabbi enough.
I started Koning about 3-4 months ago with very little Jiu-Jitsu knowledge over the few months the members & coach Helton have been very welcoming and supportive which has kept me motivated to keep training harder. I have seen myself come a long way since I first began and can see myself staying for a long time very professional environment would recommend to anyone looking to take up martial arts.
Moved here from another bjj club. Helton was very welcoming when I first enquired and invited me down for a free trial session and joined shortly after. Helton is a super nice dude and extremely knowledgeable. The atmosphere he's achieved is great and everybody down is just as nice and approachable! Best training decision I've ever made and intend on being with the club for the long haul!!

The coaching staff, led by main coach Helton, is top-notch and dedicated to helping each student achieve their goals, whether that be to become a competitive athlete or simply to stay fit and learn self-defense. The training program is well-rounded and tailored to the needs of each student, allowing them to progress at their own pace. One of the things that sets Koning apart is the emphasis on safety. Overall, Koning Brazilian Jiu Jitsu gym is an excellent place to learn and practice Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. The coaching, facilities, and community are all top-notch, making it a great choice for any woman looking to improve their skills and fitness. I highly recommend it!
Koning is a great place to train for people of all ages and levels. There is a wide variety of classes, for youngsters and adults across many aspects of martial arts. Helton is both a high level competitor and coach. This enables him to bring a different level of energy and understanding to his lessons. Koning has a very welcoming family feel to it. Ego is left at the door, everyone is collectively there to learn and grow. There is people coming out of this gym winning gold in respected weight divisions and belt, the good work being done is undeniable
I've been training with Koning fight academy just shy of a year. It was all new to me when I first started but immediately became a way of life. I joined for the fitness aspect and stayed for the comradery of the group, Helton as a coach, the disciplined mindset and most of all the smile on my face when I leave every single training session. I feel honoured to be apart of this academy and will see it through until my final days.
