Excellent service and very efficient.Our puppy was poorly and the vet gave him a thorough examination and a diagnosis followed by an injection and the next morning puppy had started to feel better. I think it's an expensive service and would have given 5 star rating if the cost was less
Instantly got an appointment which I was grateful for, however, we were there for no more than 15min and came out £500 worse off. They were reluctant to give us antibiotics which is what our dog needed. Went to our vets the next day and they issued them straight away. Instead he was given opioids which lasted 24hrs and was horrible to watch and wasn’t needed. Overall, not impressed.
Our dog was very poorly and the vet and nurse at Bets Now Worthing were absolutely brilliant. They thoroughly examined my dog and gave us good, clear information regarding his condition and what care plan they were going to out in place . He stayed overnight and we left knowing that he was in very good hands. We collected him the next morning to transfer him to our local vets and the Vets Now vet had given a thorough handover to our vets. The care that our dog received was exemplary and we felt very assured that he was in the best place.
Attended as a night time emergency and the team were wonderful, welcoming reassuring and kept us informed at all times. Considering my dog had a long car journey (which he hates) they calmed him and he relaxed in their care which tells me everything. Well done and Thank you.
My cat became unwell whilst I was away. She was seen quickly and kept in the hospital for a couple days. She was very well cared for - I was able to spend time with her in the hospital. I was kept informed about her condition, tests done and the cost of everything throughout her stay. Everyone was caring & professional… Back home and recovering
Prices for emergency care are extortionate, as are the cost of medicine and fees applied (to medicines as well). Over £270 for 8 tablets. Failed to explain admin costs added and supposed voluntary contribution to charity which I only noticed days later. Customer service helpful but struggled as I did to get answers on costs or how they arrived at them. Thank god for insurance; I guess that’s why they get away with charging so much (close to £800) Could not fault the vet who was fantastic with my very sick puppy.
This was our first time using vets now , as they are on the same site as our regular vets practise (grove lodge ) - I am endlessly grateful to be able to have 24hr care for emergencies, but to go from being told we could go home to 20 mins later deciding an overnight was best - incurring two lots of our excess to our insurers as now vets now and grove lodge are a separate entity and very standard bloods and fluids monitoring for sickness - came to , for less than 24 hrs of care , over 2k as the out of hours admittance is so high even before a consultation. Little things like being charged for vets now to handle the insurance claim only to find out through waggel it can only be done through my own account really sucks too . More transparency should be given especially regarding paying two lots of excess on insurance , for a very basic level of emergency care this really made already an difficult Financial situation much harder . I’m glad to say our boy rocketed out the door as of nothing had happened the next day , which is all I can ask for but that really felt like taking advantage of the cover we do have , without thinking about what was required , and ending up pushing us over our insurance limit to boot
Our 8 month old kitten, Tiggy, was the victim of an RTA on Friday night which left him with 2 broken legs, a tail pull, and issues with his pelvis not to mention the shock. Straight away we took him to the nearest emergency vets (Vets Now, Worthing) and he was seen to immediately. They quickly got Tiggy warm and comfortable and brought his shock levels right down- I'm convinced that without their help, the shock would have been fatal for him. He stayed in overnight and we where kept updated every step of the way. We received a lovely email from "Tiggy" with a photo attached telling us how much better he was which was a lovely gesture from the vets. They referred us to Fitzpatricks for surgery which I'm pleased to say was a huge success. Special mention has to go to Liv, Brooke and everyone else who cared for our boy in his time of need- without you guys he wouldn't be here today. Thank you all soooo much! I cannot fault my experience, from the phone call to arriving at the vets. The vet and veterinary nurse were amazing at such a difficult time. The vet was so compassionate and caring she even asked the cleaner to stop hoovering so we could have some quiet time with Belle ( cat) and laid her out like she was sleeping. Emergency cover yes but £481 for 2 painkiller injections and only seen in Reception, not a private consultation room, to then be told they couldnt do xrays and scans (suspected broken leg on a dog) as they only do out of hour until 8am and it was 7am and no time to prep for xray. Then spent a further £600 at my own vets having xray and assessment. If we had been told initially we couldn't have full service at out of hours we would have waited until our own vet opened at 9am and only paid £600.
