These kennels are the best the staff are amazing ,we have a reactive shar pei (Archie) they have taken him in a few times now we can’t be more grateful for how they care for him and how he comes home happier then ever and better with people , we highly recommend these kennels great staff great place
Our German Shepherd Ella has just stayed at Leander and when we picked her up she was happy and healthy. Our previous 2 Shepherds have stayed there and have always been fine. It's so good to have peace of mind when we go away.
So happy we found Leander Kennels! You can tell just how much they care for the dogs in their care. We'd never left Rex with anybody other than ourselves due to him being nervous and reactive following a car crash 4 years ago. So we were apprehensive at leaving him anywhere. After visiting the kennels I could see how clean and secure they were, and after speaking to Claire, I could tell she knew her stuff when it came to dog training/behaviour. She made sure we moved at a pace that would push Rex, but not over do it, and after each visit he's made more and more progress. All the staff have been brilliant, especially Shannon who's worked closely with him. We can't thank them enough and they are so much more than just boarding kennels!
First time user for my two dogs. Luckily Leander can offer larger kennels for the two dogs to be together. I was worried about my dogs during the holiday but when I returned to collect them, they were obviously very happy to see me but also were very happy with the staff of the kennels. The dogs had been well looked after, seemed pretty chilled if I was asked. Wonderful job by the kennel staff and have now booked them in for another holiday in June. Cannot recommend this Company highly enough, well done to all concerned.
Absolutely fantastic. My dog was so happy and healthy after spending a longer than average time at Leander, the staff are amazing and very communicative. I'll definitely use Leander time and time again. Thoroughly recommend!
Excellent kennels the dogs love going there always happy to see the kennel staff. They are very well looked after and are always in lovely condition when we collect them. We have used Leander kennels for many years and would not use any other kennels even though we have to travel 30 miles to board them. The staff are very friendly and helpful cannot do enough for the dogs would highly recommend Leander Kennels.
We have used other places previously and with Baxter being quite a nervous dog that suffers from separation anxiety (lock down dog) and doesn't eat and he would come back skin and bones, smelly and would take a couple of days to settle back. We have used Leander twice now and each time Baxter has returned happy, no weight loss and no signs of stress. You get regular updates which is great and definitely puts our mind at rest when were away. Can't recommend Louise and the team enough!
It is always nice when you call to book your dog in and they know who you are talking about. We use Leander maybe 2/3 times a year at most and the people who work there all seem so kind. From initial telephone call to book, drop off and taking care of your pooch you know they are getting good care and attention. This is the reason why we always return here. Safe and secure.
