   The Garden Room was excellent, and we were able to take our dog. A bit tricky to find even with their map on our arrival. Perhaps they could take a photo of the two trees that show the entrance to the path and add it to the map. The Tiger has an excellent selection of Long Man real ale and a good range of ciders too. No complaints!

   Our second stay at the Tiger. An authentic old pub in a beautiful tranquil village setting. Great food and ales, comfortable rooms and an enormous breakfast. Very good value for money, especially compared with the B&B prices some hostelries are now demanding.

   Possibly the best pub food we’ve ever had! The fish & chips was lightly battered with a thick cut of fish, still moist and perfectly cooked inside. The rabbit & bacon pie was out of this world! so delicious!! The vegetables on the side were also impressive: nicely roasted, and the carrot was sweet, like something you’d pluck straight from your own farm. The calamari was super fresh—tender and not rubbery at all. And the best part is their cider. So refreshing and light, absolutely perfect after a hike. We ordered so many pints ! Highly recommend!!

   This place is a very cozy BnB style pub. It was an excellent lunch spot after a hike. They have wonderful food with vegan and vegetarian options, as well as traditional items.

   Stunning old charm pub nestled in the village of East Dean. Access to fantastic walks, across the South Downs National Park. Friendly staff, good range of draft ales/ciders. Excellent menu. Popular pub, would recommend booking to eat at weekends. I didn't stay in the accommodation so can't comment on this.

   A fantastic pub B&B. Clean, cosy with a lovely bar and great food. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Nice evening menu.... Braised Beef Medallions, Chicken Salad, an enormous Breakfast ....all worth going back for.

   Love this pub. We travel here from Saltdean for a nice Sunday meal with the family usually. Plenty of seating indoors, but it worth’s booking a table online to avoid disappointment. It’s a very popular pub and gets very busy at lunchtime. Love sitting outdoors too in the summertime. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, excellent food.

   A hidden gem. Oldie world pub in a lovely village. Great food, pleasant staff, nice calm atmosphere. Nice spot for a well deserved pint after a walk on the South Downs. Nice green out the front with several beer garden tables in the summer months, these are reduced in the cooler wetter months and welcome real fire inside. Definitely recommend, popular with dog walkers, so expect furry friends outside at all times, but anytime I've been they've always been well behaved.
