   Found Rob via Google and the reviews were excellent. Had a good chat about the issue with car on the phone on Sunday and he pretty much diagnosed the issue there and then. Dropped it off the following weekend and it was ready by Wednesday, much earlier than expected and well within our pre discussed budget. Was even able to collect on Sunday as I'd been away. Excellent work and proper old school attitude to repairs rather than replacing when possible. Can't recommend him highly enough.

   Rob came over within half an hour on a Friday afternoon to extract a stuck diesel injector on my Mondeo. Took him about 60 seconds with the right tool. He stayed to give me a hand getting the old injector cleaned up and fitted. He was happy to give me advice as I fitted the intake & rebuilt the rest of the engine bay. Faultless service, happy to reccomend him. I think we'll be seeing him again with other jobs.

   I cannot recommend Rob enough. He is not just a mechanic he is a magician!! My beloved classic 1983 merc w123 which was with another garage in Stafford for 12 days where they could not figure out what was wrong with the car and wrongly diagnosed it getting me to purchase a £200 part and charged me £140 for labour with no luck and the car was still lying in their yard. Having exhausted the patience with them, I brought in the Man - Rob to have a look and he spotted the fault and got the car running in 10 minutes, yes, 10 minutes ! with a piece of insulation tape on the faulty Rotor arm. Car managed to drive till home. Rob got the part within 1 working day, he called me when he got the part, came over, fixed the part on our drive and also changed the £200 fuel injection metering unit which the earlier garage guys changed for no reason to the old unit and voila, the car is driving just like before. Happy days! Cant recommend him enough!! A genuine man with an interest to help someone in trouble with their motor and he still gets the thrill and excitement when he manages to sort the issue and the car starts!! Thanks Rob.

   Myself and my son were driving down from Fife in Scotland to Alton towers but my car broke down before we arrived. Luckily I had a hotel booked for the night but I then started to panic about getting someone to fix my car. I was given a few mobile numbers, the first number I called I reached Rob and from the very first phone call he went above and beyond to help me out. I never thought for one minute he’d be able to do anything that day but he collected my car 2 hours later. He was able to diagnose what was wrong with my car from just the short drive to the garage. The gearbox was broken. It was looking like it was going to be a very pricey job but he searched and searched to find a second gearbox that wasn’t going to cost an arm and a leg. Rob and his team collected the gearbox and fitted it the same day. Apart from checking for leaks he was able to get me back on the road in just 3 days. To my astonishment it cost half the price we originally thought it was going to cost which made this nightmare all the more bearable! I can’t thank Rob and his team enough for making this happen. If I could give him more stars I would because he gave this job 110%. I would highly recommend anybody in the stafford area to use TRT when needing their car looked at or repaired because you won’t find a better service out there Thank you Rob, you were my knight in dirty coveralls!
