   I used to love this garage and was finally a garage i thought i could trust and have a good experience with. Not anymore, the woman behind the reception was incredibly rude. I know i have an old car that needs some work doing to it but i don’t expect to be talked to like i’m an idiot or for someone to assume my circumstances and question me on it. I asked if i could source parts myself to keep costs down to be told no, fair enough the garage may not want to put themselves at risk, and i get that, however for her to then question me like i’m an idiot and tell me to do that would be stupid is unacceptable. For her to then follow up by trying to sell me a van after saying i should trade my car in for one, to then follow up again by saying “but we wouldn’t take yours” and start laughing is incredibly rude! I will not be using this garage again purely because of how rude the receptionist is, and I will be telling others not to either.

   Can highly recommend Astbury Garage. Every time I have a problem with my car they go above and beyond to sort it quickly and are very competitively priced. Have used them for many years, find them trustworthy and friendly. Would not go elsewhere

   I was never sure I wasn't being taken for a ride. [These are my perceptions, coupled with the failures of my vehicle; there is no malice or deception intended] There was something slightly unusual about the demeanor of the lady fronting the business – friendly, but a strange something (that made me think of times I'd been conned by folks doing work for us) when the quite hefty price and actual details were being mentioned. That I and two other customers were ignored RIGHT after paying made me nervous. There was another bill when things they'd touched not long before went wrong – I'd expected some sort of warranty on their work, but apparently not. That left me feeling suspicious. There were difficulties with that job too, but I didn't want to hand over a vehicle to get the problem resolved: I was worried how much this one was going to cost. Eventually, after things failed driving up Rood Hill, I went somewhere else. I must say, I'm glad that many people are happy with the work provided, but I wouldn't go back.

   I would 100% recommend Astbury Garage, I took my van (which I need for work Mon to Fri) for a service and MOT on Saturday, it required a few parts which they needed to order so asked me to bring it back 8.30 Monday morning and they would do their best to fit it in around the work that was already booked in. I offered to pay for the service that they’d already done but was told it would be ok to pay when the MOT work was finished! When I dropped it off Monday I was told that it was being done as the first job Monday morning and they had it finished and running like new mid afternoon. Great customer service!

   Use this garage fairly regularly and find them to be excellent. Called this morning as had a problem, was asked to leave car and they would have a look, rang back in under an hr to explain wat problem was. Car booked for following midweek and when I went to pick it up today there was no charge. Highly recommend

   Wouldn’t even give this service a 1 star, but had to in order to rate. I called ahead to book my car in for a quote and was told to bring it down, which I did. Upon arrival, I attempted to walk into the garage and halfway to reception, which was inside of the garage itself, was met with an incredibly rude and abrupt woman, waving her hands around telling me to stop. She told me to go back outside and read the notice on a red barrier at the side of the entrance, as if I was a child. I obliged anyway, to which there was a very small notice on the red barrier stating that customers need to wait outside. I informed her that I hadn’t seen this and I just assumed it was something to do with the work going on inside the garage, to which she patronisingly laughed. I asked for a quote on the damage to my car and she stated that it would be well over £2000. I got the impression that she just didn’t really want to help me in any way whatsoever. She didn’t ask for any of the actual mechanics to look at my car at all, or ask for a second opinion; basically I was brushed off. I have since taken the car elsewhere and have received a much more reasonable quote from professionals that actually care to help. I wouldn’t touch this place again with a barge pole. Incredibly shoddy service from rude and judgmental people.

   Booked my sons car in for an MOT, they collected and dropped off. Really happy with the service so we have booked our other cars in for their MOT. Thank you, it’s lovely to have a local garage that doesn’t rip you off. You now have 3 loyal customers
