Great service. Replacement tyre was organised via the RAC but he whole process was easy. The service was quick & professional. Very friendly & polite staff. Will definitely be using this garage again.

So simple ordering tyres online for my car, fitted quickly & also advised on “mm” for the other tyres. Thank you! 5*!

I have been to this garage for many years but today I was so so impressed. They've always been really fair but today they saved me from a 2K bill from Audi who completely ripped me off and didn't even complete the service correctly. They were shocked at the main dealer and advised how they could help and thats exactly what they did. I am so happy and I cannot thank them enough. Following this experience I'm cancelling my main dealer service plan and going to come here for services instead. THANK YOU!!

Had my air conditioning re-gassed. Great service, and friendly staff. And also great price (had an offer on which was the most competitive in the area) will definitely use this garage in the future.

I previously posted a 5 start review about this place - especially impressed with the helpfulness of the staff. However two serious incidents have come to light that mean I have no choice but to update with the lowest score. To summarize quickly, £1200 worth of tyres fitted to my car onto buckled wheels despite several reassurances that they were perfectly round and balanced. 4 new tyres fitted to my van, one wheel nearly falling off less than 100 miles later. Firstly back in November I fell victim to Middlewich’s potholes and suffered 2 x burst tyres on the offside of my X5. I was recovered by BMW to ProTyre. 4 x tyres were fitted at a cost of around £1200. The car had suffered from a slight vibration at speed prior to the run in with the pothole, and given the nature of the impact that burst both tyres, I asked protyre to double check that the wheels weren’t buckled or bent, and that they were properly balanced, I also asked for wheel alignment. If the problem wasn’t wheel balancing or wheel shape I wanted to take the car to BMW under warranty. Upon picking up the vehicle I asked for confirmation that the wheels were definitely round, that they had been properly balanced, and that the 4 wheel alignment had been carried out. I was assured that they had been although the printer was broken so couldn’t be given a copy of the 4 wheel alignment. Upon driving the vehicle it seemed that the vibration issue had become much worse, even being apparent at lower speeds now. I called protyre back and asked again for confirmation that the above checks had been carried out. I was again reassured that they had been. Taking protyre at their word I continued to drive the vehicle until its next service just carried out in March, where I would ask BMW Lookers in Crewe to investigate the vibration. After a thorough check I received a video from them clearly showing a very obvious flat spot on the front offside alloy and a smaller but significant buckle in the rear offside wheel. These buckles are impossible to miss, and it’s very clear that the larger buckle happened as a result of the pothole that that burst the tyres. This then can only mean that via complete ignorance or negligence, protyre fitted expensive tyres to damaged wheels. It’s also beggars belief that the technician put the wheel on a balancing machine and supposedly carried out any meaningful balancing with such out of shape wheels. BMW have recommended replacing both wheels and given the tyres are showing bad stepping as a result of the buckles, and because tyres must be replaced in pairs on 4WD vehicles, replacing all 4 - 4 month old tyres. Secondly I had all 4 tyres on my van for over £800 in January. I had a 4 wheel alignment carried out. Less than 100 miles later I’m pulling over at night in the rain on a busy highway thinking I have a flat - and finding 3 bolts loose and nearly falling out, and 1 wheel bolt missing. I am just glad that my daughters weren’t in the van with me. After previously raved about the helpfulness of the staff, it’s with a sad heart that I have to say, due to these experiences, if you don’t want to risk the your own or families health, and that of your vehicle and finances, then you should avoid this place.

Called today and they adjusted the tyre pressures for me and even took one wheel off to check as I'd gone over a pothole. All with no charge. They were brilliant. Would really recommend them

I had broken down on the side of a very busy road with my 9 month old baby and after waiting for over hour and a half, a lovely gentleman from this garage stopped and changed my tyre for me and made sure everything was fine, wouldn't take anything off me for it! Thank you so so much and I will be in very soon to come and get the tyres changed!!! Thank you!!!!
