A lovely pool that we have helped to keep in top condition over the years. Well maintained with great facilities, this is a perfect place to spend some time relaxing, exercising or having fun.
We've been attending this pool weekly for almost 8 years and love it. Pool is always warm, added bonus to have use of the hot tub. The owners are really flexible and helpful when you need to cancel/rearrange and for that reason, we plan to keep coming for as long as our children are still interested.
Awful pool owners. We had a block booking and every single time it was dirty. Absolutely filthy in the changing room. The pool floor is extremely slippery and dangerous, no safety flooring. It was raised in a very polite way with the owner and met with animosity and threats. I was made to feel common as muck and essentially that I had no right to mention that it was dirty. I provided the owner with onto proof. My original review somehow disappeared and on checking reviews I realised it had been deleted. Avoid this place. The owner is a really angry man who has feelings of superiority because he owns a big house with a pool that they sit there and watch you in. To add, this review was originally left 2 years ago. I appreciate things may have changed since ** update** as stated this review was from 18-24 months ago and was somehow deleted by the owner. Not 3 as the passive aggressive owner states. My grievance is nothing to do with the safety briefing. I stated in my review that it was the cleanliness of the place. However let’s talk about the safety reviews and the emails sent from the owners. The male owner is aggressive in his words. Rude and talks down to people. Particularly women. He spoke down to me the entire time. He acted in a way of superiority and as if he was better than everyone. This was my experience and that of other women I know personally. However the males I know who have used this pool have not had the same treatment. So as the owner wants to respond and make out the people who pay him money are the problem, I invite you to look at his responses to the people who are not happy and judge for yourself what kind of man he is. Back to my review, this was stating the pool was dirty. The toilet facilities and dressing room were disgusting. Each time we went it was worse. We had a block weekly booking and noticed that things hadn’t been cleaned week in, week out. I highlighted this to the owner and was met with abuse and belittled. I do not usually leave reviews however this man was so vile that I felt it was important to warn other women that they should approach him with caution unless they want to be spoken down to and treated like second class citizens. He has feelings of grandeur because he owns a large house and a pool but he needs to remember to pay for that house and pool, he relies on money from customers and by being so incredibly rude to customers, he will not gain repeat business. I’m positive he will send another response to my updated review and that will try to belittle me even further. This shows you the type of person you are dealing with.
Very nice facilities, hot tub especially was amazing. Owner was friendly and accommodating despite a mistake in booking on my part. Will definitely be visiting again.
Booked the Blofield pool as a treat for my wife and I on a holiday to Anglia. It was lovely. The hot tub was great too. We really enjoyed it and the owner was very helpful too. Lovely facility.
Lovely local private pool, usually very warm, which we have used for years. The owners seem very friendly and accommodating (I had to move some slots due to an operation), and ensured that everyone followed the rules throughout the pandemic, which has been very reassuring for me and my family. Highly recommended.
My husband and I have used this pool for many years. It has been greatly improved by the current owners and open again now after the lockdown. It is wonderful to be able to exercise in privacy and even the new safety measures during these unusual times have not been onerous. It is clean and well maintained. Swimming is great exercise for both my arthritic knees - it helps to keep me mobile. I love my weekly swim and am grateful that the owners share their pool with us - especially so close to our home.
Have really enjoyed hiring this pool with friends and their families in the past, great to have a pool to ourselves and to dip in and out of the hot tub/jacuzzi. It’s always been clean and the booking process is easy. Looking forward to booking again over the summer.
