   Would highly recommend! Being a young girl it’s hard to trust people with your car however the owner and the staff at ART Garage were great. They kept me updated and explained everything in detail which made me feel so at ease. Now not only do I have a reliable car I have a trusted and reliable garage I can return to if needed.

   Absolutely terrible garage, the owner is a scammer and will do anything for money apart from actually work on your car. Some lights came on the dashboard of the car, unsure what they ment we took it to ART who said they would run tests. Came back faulty wires and around £250 to fix. We said OK go ahead but please keep us updated. Got a call a few hours later to be told it was fixed and ready for pick up but the price was £690! Asked how this was possible and why they hadn't asked before they went ahead to be told they had found more melted wire and it had to be done anyway so no point calling. They knew I had to have the car back, so I paid. 2 days later the same light came back on. Took it to a different garage and they said it needed a new fuse holder thing, £35 and it was fixed! Disgusting place, I don't understand why trading standards haven't closed them down.

   I want to share my experience with ART Garage to warn others and prevent them from falling victim to the same issues. I took my car there because it was showing a timing chain fault code. Wayne, the mechanic, assured me that he would diagnose the problem and provide a quote for the necessary repairs. The initial quote I received was £1719.96 (including VAT), but my warranty company declined the claim, stating that the timing chain was nearing the end of its lifespan but not fully broken. Confused and disappointed, I relayed this information to Wayne. He suggested that the timing chain might be a recalled part and contacted MINI UK for clarification. Unfortunately, weeks went by without any updates, and my attempts to get information were met with silence or excuses. Frustrated, I contacted MINI directly and learned that my car had no outstanding recalls. Wayne then provided videos of the damaged timing chain, which I forwarded to the warranty company. They approved a quote of £630.00 for the repair, in line with industry standards. However, Wayne’s original quote was significantly higher—£1089.00 more expensive. Feeling taken advantage of, I sought another quote from a local garage, which came in at £660.00 plus VAT for parts and labour. I informed Wayne that I would have the work done elsewhere and requested my car be reassembled for transport. His response was abrupt: £180.00 for reassembly plus £270.00 for diagnosis. Outrageously overpriced! Upon collecting my car, I discovered that Wayne had left everything loose, including air lines and fuel pipes. The new garage was shocked by this unprofessional behaviour. In hindsight, I should have researched ART Garage more thoroughly. Wayne’s lack of integrity and exorbitant prices make him a true cowboy in the industry. I’m relieved my car is now in the hands of a professional, fairly priced garage. AVOID THIS COWBOY

   Don’t go to this garage, the owner is a scammers. I gave him car on Monday and was calling and visiting garage most of the days to check what he has done on my car. Told him and his staff just do initial check first and don’t do any work without giving me a price. He ignored all instructions and today (Friday) received a call of £322 bill ( for oil filter and 1 more filter change). Threatened me, police is involved now and he has my car. Gave him options to pay. garage owner is rude, unprofessional and aggressive. Going legally to get my car back :( #dontusethisgarage. Charge me £322 and the warning lights back on after taking home. Hope your garage close down soon. STOP SCAMMING INNOCENT PEOPLE . SHAME ON YOU

   Charged me £1000for a repair on my mercedes clk convertible that they are not qualified or capable of doing. The repair is a Dealership repair only found this out after taking vehicle to mercedes to be fixed, iam now taking this garage to court to get my money back from them as owner as he refused to give me the money back for the job they did not do .interested in the feedback from the owner on my review

   Put car in for brake pads and discs. I was on holliday they rang and told me my brakes were ok but the back bearings were badly worn and needed replacing. I told them to do the work . Upon return they charged me £800. When I drove out of garage nearly crashed as the brakes didnt work. The guy who did the work lied to his boss . In compensation they put 2 new tyres on the back I went to F1 autos who then corrected the bad work they had done.avoid like the plague. Couldnt trust someone who lies to his boss to tell the truth did the bearings need changing??? And the price was extortionate, A simple edit in reply to the owners reply, I wouldn't use or recommend any one to use you garage, the 2 tyres were the minimum I would accept as compensation, I didn't get paid to do a job, I was going to report you to trading standards, as the job was that bad, but didn't so I did keep my word, I just think that people should know what they are getting themselves into when dealing with ART garage.?.....?

   A disgrace of a garage and owner. Arrogant is an understatement, robbing and damages your car whilst in their care. Be careful going anywhere near this garage.. you have been warned. Had the car removed to be fixed at another garage.

   I was on holiday for the weekend and had a tyre which was losing pressure rapidly, and I called in the first tyre place. So glad I did. What excellent service. Took me to and from my hotel. I would highly recommend them.
