   I placed an order with linnell brothers as they had been recommended and I wanted to use a local company. Well I was disgusted by the quality of the wood, I ordered plainer treated timber. The 4”x2” timber arrived so bowed I’ve had to clamp it down to try and straighten it, a lot of the lengths have not been fully plained. The worst bit was I ordered 2 lengths of 4” x 2” at 6 meters they arrived with splits all down the length bowed and twisted I will not be ordering wood from them again for future projects as the quality was just not good enough for the price they charge would have been better going b&q or travis Perkins.

   Extremely rude man on the phone, wanted to support local businesses. Real shame. I'd advise taking business elsewhere. Delivery man on previous deliveries was stubborn and unhelpful also.
