   ★☆☆☆☆ Absolutely appalling service from Upfix in Brighton If I could give zero stars, I would. I’ve never experienced such an incompetent and frustrating company. It took over five weeks for Upfix to repair my dishwasher—a brand-new appliance still under its one-year manufacturer’s warranty. That’s completely unacceptable. The first visit was on 9th July, and it’s only just been fixed today (19th August). Throughout that time, I had to constantly chase for updates, only to be met with vague answers and poor communication. What should have been a straightforward warranty repair turned into a drawn-out nightmare due to delays, mismanagement, and a lack of care. One of their engineers came out, fitted a part, and didn’t even bother testing it. That same evening, the dishwasher started smelling like it was burning—completely unacceptable and potentially dangerous. I specifically requested a different engineer to return and fix it properly, but they still sent the same person back. It was clear there was zero regard for customer concerns or safety. The only saving grace in this entire ordeal was Gregg the technician—the one person at Upfix who clearly knows what he’s doing. Professional, competent, and the only one who seemed remotely invested in resolving the issue. Avoid this company if you value your time, safety, or sanity—Upfix is anything but “up to the task.”

   Tom attended promptly to examine a malfunctioning tumble drier. He listened carefully to details of the problem and made a very thorough examination of the appliance. He identified the problem in a poorly maintained component, and explained the impact this would have. Tom took time to restore the component to fully functioning condition and, recommended that I myself undertake future maintenance on a regular basis. Tom was extremely polite and friendly as well as efficient and knowledgeable. The identification and rectification of the problem almost certainly saved me from buying a new appliance, and therefore wasting hundreds of pounds -- so the price of Tom's expertise was very good value for money!

   Excellent Company and would highly recommend. Every member of UpFix that I spoke to was, friendly helpful and efficient. Their call out fee was low and no further costs for except for parts which obviously is to be expected. Special mention for Steve the engineer who thankfully had a sense of humour, as well as putting up with me asking hundreds of questions relating to our tumble dryer. Thorough investigation to find fault , and prompt follow up to locate parts and provide price.
