   Metro Plumbers were recommended by a neighbour. As a result I met Sam and provided a list of the issues needing attention, and we discussed options and aims. Jordan and Lewis visited promptly and have made a start... Replaced worn-out immersion heater, Upgraded valve controlling water supply from tank to outside tap, Checked and reported on condition of bathroom extractor flexible hose. My next job, which will start soon, is replacement of ancient cold-water tank in loft with modern coffin tank. I cannot wait for this to be done, it will be one less worry to have a hygenic tank. During this process I have now met Sam, Jordan, and Lewis (apologies if name spelt incorrectly) and they have all been pleasant to deal with, and their work has been neat and tidy. Staff in the office have replied promptly to any questions.

   Metro Plumbers have undertaken significant works at my home and I cannot recommend them highly enough. From bathroom installation, Craig was knowledgeable, efficient and very reassuring. Boiler and gas works carried out by Jordan were second to none. Again, extremely professional, efficient and knowledgeable. Radiator fit and repairs carried out by Scott with skill, so mindful not to ruin the newly laid carpets. All of the team made sure all items were covered up, so as not to damage and installed and repair with excellence. I cannot recommend this company highly enough. It is now the only place I will go for the future. They are a team that know exactly what they are doing and all of them, are highly respectful, fantastic time-keepers. Amazing job, Metro and thank you.

   They fitted 2 radiators initially with cheap fittings blaming this on the house being a new build. When we pushed back on this they then miraculously found a way to put the pipes into the wall as they should be. The radiators were fitted on different days and each leaked over night. This was rectified by them the following day on each occasion. They then fitted a £400 shower door with a missing part without our consent which now doesn’t work correctly as you can see from the pictures. They blamed us for ordering a shower door that was too complex for thier engineer. Alongside a job in our home they were quoting for a large job at our business. On arrival for a visit they were rude and intimidating towards a female who was in a large building and so they were asked to leave as a result. They then refused to complete the job in our home thus leaving two holes in the wall and bare piping and a broken shower door which cannot be returned. We have tried to mediate both informally and through a mediation agency, as well as check a trades mediation service all attempts were declined.

   Contacted Metro Plumbers to replace a leaking old bath with a shower and they did an absolutely first class professional job. They took care of everything for the removal of the old bath and supply and fitting of everything needed for a new, custom fitted shower - from plastering, plumbing, electrics, flooring to tiling. Polite and courteous at all times, showed up on time and kept me appraised at every stage of the work. Really pleased with the end result and how clean and tidy they left everything. I absolutely recommend their work and will be using them again.
