   Please do be extremely careful buying from Safir. Some of their diamonds are not officially certified & they wildly over-estimate & over-value their diamonds. You purchase at your peril as they have a sign in the shop which says "no-refunds". I bought what I thought was a mined, natural diamond in January 2024 as an engagement ring for my partner, but discovered by paying for an official certification in October 2025, that it was in fact a lab-grown artificial diamond. The diamond was worth approximately 13x less than what I paid & nowhere near the clarity, colour or quality which Safir certified it at. I was fortunate to eventually receive a full refund but it has been a difficult process for our partner & I. Safir claim they are the victims and unaware it was artificial. However they have caused the problem by selling uncertified diamonds & clearly can't certify them properly themselves anyway. They question whether GIA certifications are correct & authentic. If you are considering a purchase please do question the product's authenticity & real value.

   Very friendly and trustworthy. We came back here to look for another piece of jewellery two years after buying my eternity ring here. Great service. They even cleaned and repaired another item of jewellery for me that wasn’t from their shop free of charge. We will always come back here to see what they have when looking for jewellery in the future. We know we are getting very good value for money. So many stunning items to choose from.

   Very friendly, and helpful! I was initially looking for a vintage Emerald ring, but after chatting to staff they made me one from scratch, which was exactly what I wanted, a modern take on Art Deco design. I then went back to have my wedding ring enlarged, using my late husband’s ring. After talking it over with the jeweller I decided that the two rings should be melted down and made into one. He did a wonderful job, the rings were nearly 60 years old so I never expected them to turn into such a lovely ‘new’ one. It was a very emotional moment when I finally put it on, and I can’t thank all the staff I met during my two visits enough for their friendliness and care especially when I was having my wedding ring cut off! The jeweller was so patient, and did his best to make it as comfortable as he could given how tight it was. I am happy to give a five star review as that is the level of service I received, thank you everyone at Safir Gold!

   Came here with my girlfriend to look for an engagement ring as it was on the same day as my proposal which happened earlier. We were both standing outside looking through the window at all the various rings as there was so much choice. A man came up to the window and said to my girlfriend, do you want to come in and try the rings on. Once we were both inside we sat down with this man who introduced him self as Christopher who was one of the directors of the shop. Christopher was friendly and he went through various types of engagement rings and explained to us about the difference in colours and grades of diamonds which was helpful. I could see my partner was hesitant with the initial rings we were shown not because they weren't any good but I could just tell that it wasn't the one my partner was in love with. Christopher made us feel relaxed and he did not give up as he knew he could find something for us, so he showed us one last ring that blew my partner away and myself it was so stunning absolutely beautiful. I know that my girlfriend wanted it, it was obvious to me but as it was our first jewelry shop of the day we wanted to look around to see if anything was going to match the showstopper that we saw. Christopher said to go and take a look around all the other jewelry shops, but come back before we close as we can re size the ring. Christopher knew that he had us, nothing wrong with that at all he knows his diamonds and he knows what a beautiful ring is. He also made an offer that we could not refuse and was highly competitive as we later found out after looking at the other places. The other jewelry shops did have nice rings but nothing special like the one Christopher showed. It was in a different league to the others. I could tell that after all the other rings that we tried, my girlfriend wanted the first place we went into so we came back an hour or so before closing and sat back down with Christopher and the ring was resized in a quicker time than we anticipated. My fiancé is over the moon with her engagement ring, the way it sparkles and the glow it gives off is extraordinarily. Christopher did not pressure us to buy and we felt in control, but Christopher knows what he is doing and he knows his stuff so it's hard to not agree with what he says. We both look forward to coming back for the wedding band and ring size change in the near future as it's slightly to lose which Christopher did suggest to go smaller but my fiancé wasn't sure...

   Absolutely outstanding customer service from staff after the diamond ring we bought from there (some time ago) was damaged and the diamond became dislodged from setting . The setting was replaced with a platinum one and the original was 14ct white gold. No quibbling after seeing the original receipt and provided me with what is a massive upgrade to the ring. You can buy with confidence from this jeweller I’m a very very happy customer after being quoted between £800-£900 from local jewellers for very similar settings

   Visited the store last Friday (1/4/22) Myself and my wife were looking at eternity rings. The staff were very professional, attentive and clearly enjoyed giving excellent customer service. We were made to feel very special and nothing was to much trouble. I wanted a few modifications to a ring I selected and using their on site goldsmiths this was completed in a few hours. If you are in the Brighton area and looking to purchase some jewellery please make these guys your first stop. Thank you son much.

   Very, very happy with the service from Safir Gold. This shop is in a beautiful location, and they really listened to what I wanted and helped me create the perfect engagement ring to propose with! They were able to use the gold and the jewels from my grandmother's old ring (that was a bit damaged). There was a little smelting problem that was of no fault of Safir (another jeweler confirmed that sometimes imperfections can arise when using old gold to mix into new gold) and Ozzy was more than happy to repair this free of charge! Thank you Safir Gold!
