“Had a fantastic experience with Brighton Silver at the weekend. I have been searching for a specific kind of silver bracelet for a long time and after looking at Brighton's extensive silver collection I found a chain in the window which was in necklace form would have made the perfect bracelet for the size and thickness I was looking for. They measured it out and offered to turn the necklace into the bracelet that I desired and within half an hour my bracelet was ready! The lady that helped me was very helpful and patient with my long list of questions and allowed me to try on many different bracelets until I had the correct one. Overall I thought the experience was great from start to finish and I would highly recommend them all. Also to add their silver is of a great quality and very fair on price.”

“Went in with a watch i bought about 5 years ago and have never worn. The watch was too tight and the spare links in box were wrong size. But I took it into the Brighton store and Sophie couldn't have been more helpful. She has a box with lots of spare parts and luckily she found some that fits albeit a diff colour rose gold instead of silver. She then took it and fitted the new links and it looks absolutely gorgeous. I now have a one of a kind. Sophie was so helpful and friendly she's a credit to your store.”

“Pruden and Smith created a lovely art-deco style half eternity ring for me, designed to my specifications using old brilliant cut diamonds taken from a very worn ring owned by my husband's great grandmother. I was initially quite wary of what they might do, having already been quoted an astronomical amount for the job by another local jewellery maker. The Pruden and Smith quote was a fraction of this original quote, but the many glowing reviews I found here and elsewhere online, plus the friendliness of the staff soon put me at ease. They did an absolutely fabulous job - I now have the most beautiful and unique piece of hand made jewellery which incorporates part of our family history - sitting on my finger. It's only been a couple of days since I brought it home, but it has already received so many compliments.”

“I popped in to Brass Monkey to see if they were able to repair a necklace by supplying and fitting a new clasp. Not able were they able to do that but they were kind enough to do it there and then for me - appreciate it was a quick and straightforward job for a skilled jeweller to do and not all repairs would be like this but I was really taken by the kind and courteous customer service as well as the quality of the repair. While I was in there, I couldn't help but notice the wide range of jewellery styles on display with each shelf representing work from a different independent artist, all hand-made with some quite stunning designs - if you were looking for a unique and beautiful item of jewellery, you would be unlucky to not find something here that you loved. Highly recommend without reservation.”

“A morning at Wendy’s was unforgettable! My daughter and I were gifted a wish from the charity Taylor Made Dreams where we could make jewellery in Wendy’s studio (with her close guidance) and my daughter decided to make sea shell necklaces for us and for her siblings and Dad. “If I could give more than 5 stars I truly would. My fiance and I came in to look at wedding bands having not been that inspired by the off the shelf options elsewhere. My husband to be went from "I am not a jewellry person I probs wont wear a ring" to being absolutely in love with his wedding band, and so excited to wear it. We both ended up with custom designs that truly reflected us as a couple. Lorraine worked with us to explore the different options and get everything just right, including sending over proofs of designs and tweaking as we went. Gavin was great at explaining the technical processes too and overall we just felt totally valued and heard the entire time. We feel very lucky to have had these heirloom pieces created for us and will be coming back in future for future pieces!
