Fin was so helpful and responsive as we worked to find a date and confirm the logistics. Giles was patient and informative as we learnt to make the rings - it was like a science lesson which we loved! Once we made the gold bands, Giles worked with me to shape this to fit my engagement ring perfectly. Coincidentally, we had booked this on my birthday and Fin made sure it was an extra special day - we were so well looked after! “Pruden and Smith created a lovely art-deco style half eternity ring for me, designed to my specifications using old brilliant cut diamonds taken from a very worn ring owned by my husband's great grandmother. I was initially quite wary of what they might do, having already been quoted an astronomical amount for the job by another local jewellery maker. The Pruden and Smith quote was a fraction of this original quote, but the many glowing reviews I found here and elsewhere online, plus the friendliness of the staff soon put me at ease. They did an absolutely fabulous job - I now have the most beautiful and unique piece of hand made jewellery which incorporates part of our family history - sitting on my finger. It's only been a couple of days since I brought it home, but it has already received so many compliments.”

“If I could give more than 5 stars I truly would. My fiance and I came in to look at wedding bands having not been that inspired by the off the shelf options elsewhere. My husband to be went from "I am not a jewellry person I probs wont wear a ring" to being absolutely in love with his wedding band, and so excited to wear it. We both ended up with custom designs that truly reflected us as a couple. Lorraine worked with us to explore the different options and get everything just right, including sending over proofs of designs and tweaking as we went. Gavin was great at explaining the technical processes too and overall we just felt totally valued and heard the entire time. “We first went to enquire about the bespoke process over a year ago and got such a great overview from Abi, who was so engaging and made us sure we'd be coming back, even though we now live far from Brighton. We commissioned two solitaire lab diamond engagement rings. They were not particularly intricate designs, but we are quite picky, so wanted to be involved in designing them. We started the process properly this spring with Yazmin. She was very informative and helpfully transparent in our first consultation about how our budget could be best used to get exactly what we were after, which was something we hadn't necessarily had from other jewellers! We took a trip down to see the stones they had sourced a couple of months later, which were perfect, and confirmed a few more design choices. It was a lovely session and made us very excited to see them come to life. Around 2 months later they were posted to us securely. And now that we have the rings, they are everything we could have wished for. Yazmin is a ray of sunshine, so enthusiastic, helpful and communicative throughout the whole process.  And the whole business is incredibly friendly, inclusive and really just a wonderful haven of creativity. Not only are they great at what they do, they're lovely people!”

“Following a terrible experience with F.HIND aim Crawley who kept my watch for 6 weeks and quoted £1,250 to change a Rolex clasp and switch my bezel (using my own bezel) Took my Rolex #16700 to James Stephens in Crawley. Richard hey repaired the clasp and switched the clasp in 45 minutes for £30. They also steam cleaned the watch! Outstanding honest professional customer service provided by James and Asher. I have left them with a platinum wedding ring to polish.”
