We had such an amazing experience making our wedding rings at Orla James! Fin was friendly, warm and professional and our teacher for our ring making workshop was absolutely fantastic! We have been really impressed by the team at Orla James who have made the run up to our big day all the more exciting!
Amazing shop with fantastic service. Me and my wife designed our wedding rings ourselves in the workshop and had such a lovely time. Fin talked us through the process during an initial consultation and we got to choose our metals. We then came back once they'd been delivered and got to craft them ourselves. We had a break for lunch at the pub down the road and came back for the afternoon session. Our rings were then delivered a couple of weeks later and the finish and engravings on them were absolutely sublime. Honestly, we can't stop looking at our rings even now, 2 months later! 10/10 would recommend as it was such a special day in the lead up to our wedding!
We could not recommend making your wedding rings with Orla James more highly! Fin and Giles were amazing throughout the entire process. Fin was so helpful and responsive as we worked to find a date and confirm the logistics. Giles was patient and informative as we learnt to make the rings - it was like a science lesson which we loved! Once we made the gold bands, Giles worked with me to shape this to fit my engagement ring perfectly. Coincidentally, we had booked this on my birthday and Fin made sure it was an extra special day - we were so well looked after! We absolutely love our rings which are engraved with our wedding date on the inside and even more special knowing that we made each others - highly recommend. Thank you so much!
We could not be happier with our wedding rings we got from Orla James! Fin was amazing throughout the whole process, especially with being able to make my wedding ring shaped to fit my engagement ring! Especially after being told by high street jewellers we wouldn't be able to get a ring to sit flush! With quick and assuring responses, this was no problem for Fin and we absolutely love our rings which are engraved with our wedding date on the inside! Absolutely fantastic experience making our own wedding rings. We had such a lovely day and could start to get excited about getting married. Giles was so patient and it was great to learn so much. Fin sorted all the details and I was able to get my engagement ring resized. We loved making them and having them engraved. It made our day even more special.
We chose to make our own wedding rings at Orla James and it was one of the best days out we've had in ages! Before we even got there we got sent a range of sample rings so we could try on and choose what size we wanted. And then on the day we drove the 115 miles to worthing and was not disappointed! Fin and Giles were so lovely and made us feel so welcome. They took the time to explain the steps, answer our questions and we learnt a lot. It is extremely good value and beats anything you can get from the high street. We love that we have more of a story behind our wedding rings as we made each others. Couldn't recommend this enough!
We made our wedding rings with Fin and Giles through their “make your own” workshop and WOW! It has been our favourite part of wedding prep so far. Neither of us had ANY jewellery making experience but we had a wonderful, relaxed day with Giles who is so passionate and knowledgeable about his work. Fin even helped us to add my partner’s late Mum’s wedding ring into the gold we made our wedding rings from and shaped my ring to fit perfectly around my asymmetric engagement ring. I would highly recommend their workshop as a unique experience and lovely way to create memories with your partner.
We did the wedding ring making workshop at Orla James. We were very well looked after by Fin and Giles was an excellent teacher. We really enjoyed our day and would highly recommend it to others.
My fiancé and I did the make your own wedding rings experience yesterday - honestly an absolutely fantastic experience that I will now recommend to anyone and everyone. Fin and Giles are both incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, and we now have four beautiful rings handmade by us (which includes our practice ones in silver). I'm going to treasure the ring my fiancé made me so so much - this really was a special and personal experience. If it's something you're considering - don't hesitate! Get booked in!
We had so much fun making our own rings. It’s a lovely thing to be able to do, but the experience at Orla James makes it even better. Fin and Giles are both really lovely. We had such a great day with them, Giles is extremely knowledgable and has the perfect balance in terms of creating your own rings but helping as when and you need. We would 100% recommend!
