“Always have to pop in when i’m in chester, the staff are so friendly and welcoming and honestly fit the vibe of the shop so well. They always have cute clothes, bags and jewellery stocked that i would genuinely give my whole life savings for. As well as so much Wiccan stuff which as a pagan is so amazing to see!! “So pleased with the service from Wongs! My wedding rings were also my grandmother's wedding rings so they've been well loved. The engagement ring's band was getting extremely thin and I was terrified of knocking it and losing it, so brought it into Wongs for a shank replacement. They did a beautiful job of it - the detail on the front is untouched and the shank is nice and heavy now to last a lifetime ♥️ Highly recommend. The service was professional and Tracey was brilliant with advice and guidance. We had also discussed potentially rebuilding my wedding band however we ultimately decided against it - she was so helpful to draw out the different options we had and pricing. At no point was she pushy and the whole consultation felt honest and professional. Max did the work on the rings in the workshop and I am genuinely blown away by how perfect everything has turned out. I left my band to be cleaned alongside my engagement ring and they both came back absolutely sparkling - I think this is the cleanest they've been since they've been in my ownership! Definitely will be returning to Wongs for any future jewellery work (including when we will probably be eventually getting my wedding band rebuilt). I really appreciated on collection that we were told we can keep bringing them in for annual checkups even though they weren't bought from Wongs. “My experience of Jewellery by Design has been nothing short of exceptional. The team is clearly so talented, that goes without saying, but it was their kind support, constant communication and patience in guiding me through the creation of a precious ring that really makes them stand out, and I will always be so grateful for the precious heirloom they have created for me. I gave them a few pieces to repair (a pearl bracelet from my sister and a broken necklace with a heart pendant from my mum) which weren’t expensive pieces but held incredible sentimental value and the team treated them with such care, both were returned to me as good as new. But the main piece I commissioned was a gold ring with 2 diamonds and a tourmaline gemstone. The diamonds were from an eternity ring my dad bought my mum which had 5 in total but after he passed away when I was little, she divided the diamonds up into different pieces of jewellery for me and my sisters. Bringing 2 of the diamonds back together in a bespoke ring with a beautiful tourmaline at the centre was something I’d wanted to do for many years but I’d always been so nervous about it, because of the sentimentality and the backstory behind the diamonds. Steve, Sue, Ruth and Natalie were so understanding and made the vision I had dreamt of a reality. They provided a number of gems to choose from, suggested which setting would look best and answered any and all questions I had. The result is an absolutely breathtaking ring. I’m writing all this because jewellery is such a personal thing, and commissioning something like this requires a lot of trust, but Steve and the team have not let me down. They knew exactly how to create a ring that exceeded my expectations, and I know my dad would absolutely love what I’ve done with those diamonds he bought my mum over 30 years ago. So thank you to Steve and his team for giving me such a beautiful treasure to keep forever.”

“If you’re looking to get your child’s ears pierced this is definitely the place. I took my 7 year old daughter here today after many recommendation’s and I’m so glad I did. Vicky was absolutely amazing with my daughter who was a little nervous and did such an incredible job at calming her. She put on her favourite music and gave her a sweet which was such a nice touch. Overall it was an amazing experience, done so smoothly and efficiently but not rushed. All the other ladies in the store were so lovely too. My daughter is so happy with her new earrings.
