   Absolutely stunning work from Rebecca and team. They've made new stacking rings and a pendant to my own design incorporating stones and precious metal from jewellery passed down from various relatives. These were then 'tweaked' to get exactly the finish I wanted. I also ordered matching rings for my children that incorporated inherited stones and metal, and new wedding rings for me and my husband to the same design as the old ones (which was tricky because of the design and meant that a trial run was needed). We are so lucky to have such a fabulous goldsmith who can undertake any bespoke commission so expertly, so close to where we live. The pieces in the shop are lovely, too. Thank you. Karen

   Over the years my husband has surprised me with many beautiful items of jewellery from Pruden and Smith and together we have bought gifts from them for both our daughters. When it came to commemorating our 40th wedding anniversary and also my 70th birthday, he wanted to buy me a special ring. We now live in the north of England and we visited a number of local jewellers, but none of them seemed able to offer anything that matched the quality and uniqueness of Pruden and Smith. Consequently we planned a visit south but this couldn't happen because of health issues, so we liaised with the team by phone and email and Rebecca created a beautiful sapphire bubbles cluster ring with colours of my choosing for the main stones. I couldn't be happier with it - I absolutely love it and will be wearing it every day! Thank you so much Rebecca!

   Staff are friendly and very talented I ordered a custom engagement ring for my (now) fiance. Due to Covid, I preferred not have an in person appointment and was able to discuss what I was looking for over the phone and video call. I was kept updated on the progress of the ring, and was able to pick the ring up at a date that I felt was comfortable. My fiance and I love the ring and we are very happy with it!

   Pruden and Smith created a lovely art-deco style half eternity ring for me, designed to my specifications using old brilliant cut diamonds taken from a very worn ring owned by my husband's great grandmother. I was initially quite wary of what they might do, having already been quoted an astronomical amount for the job by another local jewellery maker. The Pruden and Smith quote was a fraction of this original quote, but the many glowing reviews I found here and elsewhere online, plus the friendliness of the staff soon put me at ease. They did an absolutely fabulous job - I now have the most beautiful and unique piece of hand made jewellery which incorporates part of our family history - sitting on my finger. It's only been a couple of days since I brought it home, but it has already received so many compliments.
