I think it's a good idea but I could not bring myself to step through the door as I am a nervous person who dislikes the unknown if I had someone who knows what to expect I would go for it as having people around would do a world of good but it depends on what you are looking for

If you need help with wellbeing, this is a great start. A good place to make connections. A non judgemental environment. They give people safe space to meet , and run useful courses at various days and times. The people here have been through most of the things that most of us have been through.

You’ve never been to a place like this.. no wait time, you can ring up and be in a group even the same day.. unbelievably supportive and kind people (both service users and staff) who want the best for you. Changes have saved my life and I’m forever grateful ❤️

Its really bizarre, that in times of your life when you reach the lowest point, a person you have never met in your life reaches out to you and holds your hand tight. They give you time, which is precious, a gift. They build you up so you feel better but they also supply you with the tools to use next time you have a little bit of a wobble. However if you wobble and you need them again, turn around as they have never left your side. These people are amazing, Thank you..

Wonderful supportive place to receive support with any kind of mental distress. A safe non judgmental space where people will listen to and support you. The courses offer some really useful ideas to help with recovery and maintaining mental wellbeing and the peer support groups provide a supportive environment and a place to be heard. There are social events also to help with inclusion so you never need to feel alone. All run by people who care and understand. Somewhere to be yourself, gain support, get some helpful tips and also to help others in peer support. Invaluable service

When i arrived at changes i was terrified of my own shadow. Changes has supported me through illness, loss and alcoholism, encouraging me and teaching me to learn to live with and not suffer with mental health! It actually does here what it says in their mission statement. I am now part of a special group of people i class as a second family who help me to make good decisions and i hopefully help them. Through taking part in the workshops i have become not ashamed of myself. I accept who i am and don't focus on what I'm not, which was a biggy for me. Thank you to everyone there at Changes that I've met, but also those behind the scenes. It takes each and everyone of us for Changes to work as well as it does. I have also seen many folk get well through attending the peer support groups and confidentially problem solving overwhelming issues that everybody has. Definitely 5 stars
