Wouldn't bother with any stars place terrible, mould everywhere, cooker painted!! and dirty ,owners response was well it is cheap. Don't waste your holiday or money
Cold and very damp bedroom and bathroom. Decor is dated and disappointing. Might be better in the summer when the weather is better. More attention to detail would be welcomed !
Bit to walk to the village if you are not a walker. Lovely countryside. Great value for money.
All I can say is it was amazing, the cottage is amazing everything you could wish for, there's an asda close by to buy food. the view is beautiful and goes great with that first cup of morning coffee, the cottage is warm and inviting.
My boyfriend booked this as a surprise for my birthday. The cottage is really sweet and the view of the downs is truly lovely. The owner was really helpful and very understanding when we broke a glass. Everything was clean and tidy, the bed was comfy and it was nice to have a bath. Only criticism is that we couldn't get the oven to heat properly but that might have been us being blonde...
The self catering accommodation is superficially clean but needs a deep clean. Everything within the accommodation is tired , worn out , broken or bodged so the it is just usable with the utmost of care ( electric shower held together with plastic cable ties) . Definitely not worth the premium of £ 557.75 for 5 nights .
