Absolutely disgusting. New HALAL butchers in Fenny Stratford. Go there cleaner better cheaper and you know what your eating.
What an incredible store! Gharib International Food Center is a true gem for authentic halal products. The shop is easy to navigate and the staff are always smiling, courteous and ready to help. Their selection is fantastic - premium halal meats, fresh spices, Middle Eastern sweets, and so much more! But the baklava is an absolute showstopper — rich, flaky, and perfectly sweet! The chicken sausages are another favourite, packed with flavour. Every visit feels like a treat. Excellent service, top-quality products and a warm atmosphere. Highly recommended!
I buy from Gharib International Food Centre from a long time now and I can say always all the staff was helpful and the food was fresh even he helped me and ordered in advance more food for my business when I need it . I highly recommend if you want a good product to go there and try. Good prices.
I really wanted to like this shop but every time I've been in I've experienced bad customer service. Once I was surprised about the total price of the meat when I got to the till and upon expressing this, the cashier immediately appeared to be very angry and started talking to me with hostility as if he was trying to start an argument. And another time the man at the till scanned a piece of fruit I was going to buy and after seeing the price, I asked if he could take it off and he rolled his eyes at me and tossed it to the side. And yes the shop is cramped with boxes everywhere and it is always like this, makes it a tight squeeze walking down the aisles.
I had a good experience, and Gharib is the best that is on offer away from London. I missed the bread and the Turkish drinks, they sell them all here. The shopworker was polite and, generally I had no problems, many thanks.
Among the small stores that sell Arabian and Mediterranean food, this one is the best in Milton Keynes, it is clean,they bring good and well known brands from Syria, Palestine, Egypt, lebanon, Iran, Turkey and others. One point is that -in such small stores-you always need to check the expiry date. They sell also Halal meat and chicken (good quality),Arabic bread which arrives fresh every Saturday and Wednesday but you can still find it all the week, also small Zucchini ( if you miss Mahshi or Dolma) The owner Ghareeb and his wife are so nice and friendly.
Great selection of food but today I was overcharged by £4. I only realised this when I got home. I was becoming a regular but feel I got scammed today so won't be coming back for a long time. Reply to owner: Thank you for your reply. No that wasn't me. I came in at around 11:45am. I purchased 2 packs of Turkish Delight (£1.99 each), 4 bottles of super malt (89p each) and 1 can of coconut water (unsure of price) but I was charged £11.99. I should have known that was not correct as it ending with 99p was too convenient but I was talking to the cashier so I was distracted. Ill pop in if I'm in the area again. Thank you. UPDATE: The problem was very well sorted out today. Thank you.
