   We brought our dog Flo to this groomer with very clear instructions not to cut her coat too short — she has naturally fluffy, curly hair and wasn’t matted at all. When we returned, the staff joked, “Are you ready for this?” before revealing that she’d been shaved right down to the skin. We were shocked — it was the complete opposite of what we asked for, and you could literally see her skin. They also claimed her coat was matted (it wasn’t) and said they’d trimmed her nails (they hadn’t). Now, six weeks later, her fur is finally the length we originally wanted — but it’s grown back uneven, with long, patchy sections that show how poorly the cut was done. Flo was traumatised and scarpered around for weeks, we won’t be returning. It’s really disappointing to feel unheard. Images attached of before the groom and after.

   The owner is very rude and his customer service is appalling. I had a groom at the beginning of November and was told by him there was no need to book in advance and to call two before to book an appointment, which i did however was not able to fit my dog in. I got the earliest appointment which was available which was 10 weeks from his last groom! I look after my dogs coat i brush him 2/3 times a day and give a full wash and blow dry every week. However when i went to pick him up they had completely skinned his coat without my consent and said his fur was completely matted which I can confirm was not! The fur if matted is completely attached and when picking him up you could see his fur on the floor and not a matted clump in sight! He did not even give his coat a check to see that there was no matts just went completely with the shaver and shaved it all off! I will not be returning!

   I highly recommend house of paws.. I was taken my pup to another groomers after numerous times that’s all they could do was bath and half dry her, as she was so anxious,didn’t like the dryer, took my lil pup here today and she had a bath got dryed and had a lovely cut, I was very anxious for my pup but they put my mind at ease I’m so happy that I have found the right groomers for my fur baby… Thank you see you in July

   Chris the owner is amazing & will do anything he can to help you. My dog loves going with him. Can't recommend Chris and his team enough. They pick my dog up and bring him back, sometimes he will be gone all day.
