   The pumps are NOT correctly marked. On the left side, the sign claims "extra long pumps" and that both cash and card are accepted - neither of which turned out to be true. The pump didn’t reach round my car, and there was no option for cash payment, only card. This led to unnecessary delays and confusion, not helped by the fact that the queues were ridiculous. To make things worse, the older staff members on-site were unfriendly and painfully slow, which only added to the frustration. This really needs addressing - clearer signage, better staff training, and improved layout would go a long way.

   Tesco petrol station, great choice of unleaded, super unleaded and diesel! Pumps are self serve and either pay at pump or in the kiosk. There is a car wash here but is often closed. There is a cash or card operated jet wash. The shop sells the usual drinks and snacks plus a few car bits and the usual bread and milk.

   I would give the staff in charge of this place on Sunday evening 2nd February 2025 a zero star rating. I arrived there put £10.01 in my tank very much in hurry having been forced to search out fuel whilst searching frantically for my partner who was missing and seriously confused. I found the £20 note I was to pay for the fuel was torn, but as they helpfully pointed out was still legal tender but they wouldn't accept it. I explained my rush and desperation to get back to my search only to fall on deaf unsympathetic ears. The supervisor was summoned and and slowly swaggering up confirmed they won't accept the legal tender note humming and hawing went off to fetch a tablet. The details given eventually announced the need for proof of identification. I ran to my car. In an attempt to speed things up drove tge car admittedly to infront of the garage entrance where it would be momentarily parked in the no park area not blocking or causing any inconvenience. I ran in with my licence where he refused to accept it till my car was removed despite my obvious desperation to return to the search. Non phased he stubbornly unsympathetically stood firm on his jobs worth by the book, with no regard or care about my hurry. I re parked the car to get on with his request. I asked to sign the tablet whatever when he ignorantly marched past heading over to my car to photograph the front lol. I ran to him asking to sign whatever he wanted where he stood. He ignorantly turned and marched back into the store. I'd had my full by this point and jumped in drove off in the knowledge he had plenty ID /proof of my good intention to return with their £10. I return to the store to pay the £10 where it's refused to be informed its being dealt with as a drive away theft. Given a slip of paper to pay on line, and after attempting to find they want an additional £10 for admin fees F OFF .

   UPDATED REVIEW 31.03.23....Why do you advertise that you are open till midnight on Monday to Saturday and i arrive at 10.10pm last night (Friday) and you are closed and the entrance coned off!!!!....your management need to check how you operate and ensure you have thw correct information available.....really disappointing again Tesco.....if it was possible to leave zero stars I would.... Honestly Tesco the level of service at your fuel station in Wellingborough is awful....each time.i visit, the pumps are not working or their is limited fuel, or the receipt doesn't work....today pump 7 had 1 choice of fuel and pump 8 had no fuel and then I couldn't use my card to pay even though pay at pump was the only option....what is going in their.....the level of service is less than 1 star.... Best bit about your station is the car wash, the guys are great and work really hard....sort it out Tesco.....last chance for me to use otherwise I will find an alternative.....

   Says its 24 hours. When I arrive the place is locked and all the petrol pumps are locked. At 11pm.

   Very disappointed and will avoid. had 3 problems recently and on more than one occasion, the fuel pump hose doesn't click off on pumps 9 and 4 when the tank is full, wasting fuel and spilling it down the side of the car, then it was difficult to find any blue cloth/tissue to clean up spills, also the clubcard function rarely works on any pump, rarely (if ever) a receipt available on most of the oumps I have used there and then to top it all, the air machine for your tyres (that you have to pay for) was not working properly on Monday 3rd October, (not just me as I saw someone else struggling) and I ended up with less air in the tyre than I arrived with, spoke to the cashier inside the station to outline my concerns above and she was totally uninterested in anything I had to say......so I will now be looking for somewhere else to fill up from now on...

   Pay at pump often fails. You have to abandon it and drive round again. This has been happening for years now. Staff seem like they're trained to be extra rude too. I am referring to the older ladies that seem to work here alot. Cheer up girls, your day will go alot quicker if you smile!

   This Tesco station is always busy. The road entrance could be a lot better presented and this would make it a whole lot safer as when leaving the station the vision to the right (store traffic leaving site) is hidden by a scruffy hedge, dangerous! Fueling up is a simple event if the pump is actually working. Fairly clean place and the staff are ok. Wake up Tesco and make the place safe.
