First time going into this place today. The lady that did my nails was really friendly and chatty. Really nice. I had a shellac nails but not really to happy with the result. At 1 point she burt my nail with the file and the varnish isn’t quite as thick as it should be as I can see through it. Looks patchy. So I won’t be returning
Left after a 1 hour 30 appointment given benefit of a doubt had my nails on less then 4 days and had to have them removed in a emergency ‼️ bruised nails cut skin as it was red raw after appointment thin damaged nails painful experience‼️ do not go they are so rude don’t care only want money
Took my 13 year old daughter for her birthday. She wanted natural almond acrylics. I asked if they did student discount as our usual nail place does. (coco nails was full) I showed the arbour app with her picture and details (like uni days for college students) they said they only accept uni days I explained she was 13 they said its 35.00 which again I questioned as it said on the price board 32 for acrylics and gel. She only had acrylics no design. I won't be returning the atmosphere was horrible in there too. The staff are rude.
Absolutely loved this place my nails are absolutely stunning bit pricey but worth a treat now and then. Staff were lovely
Beyond disgusted with how my nails were left today. Me and my mam both had our nails done, my mams done by the man came out lovely. I had a young girl who sat rolling her eyes, slamming my hands around while completing the worst nails I’ve ever seen never mind had in my life. She then said ‘fine I’ll take them off and you won’t pay’ after cutting my natural nails right down. I’m very disappointed with both the way I was treat and the results, I’ve attempted to fix it at home as I didn’t know what else to do. The staff were different from my visit a year ago and possibly this has to do with it. But I’m still hours later in shock at how I was treated and the results of my nails - I of course have photos and videos of what I left the shop with and how much I’ve managed to fix it, slightly yet I was still charged £30.
This visit is the last and I will not be going back to happy nails. As a regular customer since 2020 they have now gone downhill. A few months back the staff completely changed since then my first visit one lady injured me on four of my fingers. I was bleeding from my cuticles and my thumb as they curved under my nail. I pointed this out to them and they didn’t bother cleaning it. I flinched and she grabbed my hand back into position. They used the same utensils with blood on a different customer. My cuticles were sore for a few days following this. My second visit was better and I vowed not to use the original staff but this last visit was the final straw. My cuticle is currently open and raw. Again two cuticles bleeding and did not change the utensils. The gentleman had blood on his glove and went and served someone else with said gloves. Again no care to clean up and I asked to wash my hands but this would affect the polish and they said later. It’s really unsanitary and in the three years I’ve never been hurt until now. They simply do not care. It is a shame as I have been a loyal customer but I won’t be subjected to such a service
In my opinion this place is not good. They ruined my daughters nails and refused to refund or repair. They became aggressive when asking them to rectify their mistakes. Not a good place and will never ever go back. Reported to trading standards
Staff were lovely and nails amazing - absolutely love this nail shop !!! Couldn’t recommend any more. Feel absolutely distraught that people have been treating the staff in here horribly.
