   ****Pleased to report this issue was resolved positively and I’ve used the salon many times since with no issues*** After a long period of time using this salon, it is with regret that I’m posting a negative review on behalf of my Mum. My Mum booked in to have her holiday nails done and for some reason (reason unknown) was given acrylic nails. She was pleased but did say she would have gel nails, like she usually does next time. She went into the salon last week to make an appointment for the following day to have them removed. She showed her nails & was told it would cost £16. At the appt, the nail technician started the removal and then realised they were acrylic and said she didn’t have time to do it because she had another customer! From this point on my mum was made to feel she was a hindrance and the nail technician was clearly put out.My mum was asked to sit with her nails in water so they didn’t dry out, for approx 40 mins whilst the technician dealt with another customer. She was then passed between two members of staff to remove the nails, taking a total of 1 hour 40 minutes and both didn’t say hello, ask how she was or talk to her at all. My mum felt completely guilty, unwelcome and awkward throughout yet she hadn’t done anything wrong. To make matters worse she was charged £5 extra (£21) despite being told the previous day (in person) it would be £16. At the very least, I think the salon should have waivered the extra £5 due to her negative experience and to acknowledge that my Mum wasn’t in the wrong and to apologise. In my opinion, they really shouldn’t have charged her at all. My mum only has her nails done two or three times a year as a special treat and has always gone to Halo as a treat but is saying she won’t go back. I have asked for the manager to give me a call back on Tuesday to discuss this, so I’ll update this review accordingly depending on their response.

   2nd visit to Halo salon. Made to feel very welcome. 5 stars excellent treatments, not extortionate prices.. They do those anklets/bracelets good price.Much more variety. Not the same as the Hartshill one theirs are dearer, less choice.

   This was my first time getting my nails done, had a full set of gels. Lydia was great, helped me pick a colour to match my dress and put extensions on 2 of my nails that were too short. She was great to talk to and my nails were amazing!

   They were amazing managed to get us all fit in for bridal party nails, all staff were lovely, did and excellent job and were the only nail place that actually had a front desk who we could call and not nail techs running from an separate Instagram accounts. So pleased would definitely recommend. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

   This is without a shadow of a doubt; THE BEST Salon around. Everything from the positive, relaxing atmosphere to the amazing treatments provided. The staff are all really lovely and are so approachable, they were very helpfull from the very first time coming to the salon when I wanted to change from acrylic to growing my own and how to strengthen them. We talked about what would be the best treatment to have done to my nails. They are now beautiful and healthy and long. Iv never experienced a dull moment in the salon and they do there very best to fit you in where ever possible. I have never just liked my nails i have always loved them. Thank you very much Halo! Iv been coming to halo now for over 3 years and i would never go anywhere else. Fantastic salon!
