We took our cat here, because of an emergency we was very concerned about him health, he was loosing fur and covered in scabs, clearly needed antibiotics, The vet we saw clearly couldn’t have cared less he basically blamed us for his condition and didn’t really care about our cat, just told us it was flees, I had to ask him to give him some sort of treatment to which he huffed and eventually gave him a steroid, I asked about about his swollen paws he didn’t even address it, I asked about antibiotics I was told he didn’t need them(clearly he did). A few weeks later our cat wasn’t any better and his fur was falling out all over the place his paws even more swollen, We took him to a different vets which told us he should have been given antibiotics straight away. And now he has an infection in his paws which ended up costing use more money because we now have to used antibiotics steroids and constantly have to bathe our cat which is always fun. So we don’t recommend taking your cat here or any pet for that matter. It will cost you more in the long run and your pet will be unfortunately poorly for longer.

Fantastic vets, couldn't wish for better care for my chronically ill, elderly cat. The receptionists and nursing staff are always friendly and helpful and have been so kind to me. The vets are knowledgeable, thorough and compassionate. It's thanks to the care from Highland Vets that I've managed to give my cat such a good quality of life for so long.

I attended Highland Vets today for our rescue cat Flossie’s vaccination. She was trembling as we went through as a couple of rowdy dogs in the waiting room freaked Floss out a bit and so she was not in the best of moods for having the injection. However, we saw the loveliest of vets called Chloe and when she picked Floss up to weigh her she gave her a lovely cuddle and kiss!!! She was so gentle with her but when she tried to take her neck skin for the vaccine Floss growled and hissed at her. She’s obviously a massive cat fan though as she didn’t just go ahead and inject, she whizzed off out and came back with a licki-licks and squeezed it onto the exam table so that she was distracted. We also got great treatment when our old cat Cleo had to be put to sleep last year, so much care and compassion. Lovely staff, would recommend.

After the horror of my last vets a few years ago. I feel so at ease with highland vets. They have treated me and my pets with care and respect. They talk you through every process and deliver the best possible standard. From my dog’s op to my kitten’s first vaccinations, staff have delivered a 5 star service! I would certainly recommend them to everyone.

Lovely small practice, they are very welcoming and lovely to your pet/s. We came here after being with a large practice locally who had definitely lost the " personal" touch. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this practice 10/10.
