Make sure your dog has the kennal cough vaccination. When we booked our dogs in over the phone this was not mentioned to us. We dropped the dogs off on the way to our holiday and was told they couldn't take them as they hadn't had the vaccine. We Had a very stressful few hours trying to book them in at other kennals and almost missed the flight.

We chose Kerry Lee Kennels as they were highly recommended, and we had heard nothing but good things. We were initially very happy with our choice, as the kennels appear to be family run by people who have had dogs all their lives and clearly have a lot of experience with animals. This really came across when we visited the property. The land is lovely, with a large pond, ducks roaming around, and plenty of dogs staying there, which gave it a very homely, rural feel. However, when our dog came home he did not quite seem himself and had diarrhoea. This may well be due to stress from staying somewhere new, or possibly a change in diet, but it was still something we noticed and were a little concerned about. The main issue for us was the size of the pens. We felt they were quite small and cramped, especially with a lot of dogs barking nearby. Our dog came from Dogs Trust, and having seen the high standards there with the pens, I think this may have influenced our expectations. Overall, I would feel comfortable leaving our dog here again for short stays, as the staff clearly care about animals. However, for longer stays, I would be more hesitant due to the pen sizes and the impact the stay seemed to have on our dog. I suspect this is an us issue though so cannot mark them down too much!

We've been taking our motley assortment of dogs of all shapes, sizes and ages to Kerry Lee for many years and over three different owners. All have been great and none more so than the current owners Nicola and Charles who, with their staff, are friendly, helpful and very professional. The kennels are clean, modern and very well run and our dogs have always come home healthy and happy. To us our dogs are family so it's very important they get the best and most loving care and they certainly do at Kerry Lee. Thoroughly recommended.

Recently left my precious little 10yr old jack russell here. They understood his needs and looked after him well. Owners and staff were very helpful, caring, friendly and professional... excellent! Thank you.

Heard the owners scream at a customer. Didn’t seem very friendly, best to avoid. Will not be leaving my dog here. Reply: Please check your CCTV to see how aggressive staff seemed, waving a cane in a customers face. Another note: Your prices online are not reflective of the charges on arrival. Mis-Advertised.

If I could give 0 stars I definitely would. Owners of this company are disgusting. After a disagreement, owner Charles got so aggressive he looked physically threatening as if he was going to attack my family member. Nicolas attitude is also vile. Very unprofessional screaming at customers across their kennels. Other staff Pauline, James etc are wonderful. Such a shame. Do NOT recommend.
