Im regular customer, everyday I come to this shop and to day Im very disappointed bcz they didn't wanna accept Scottish money .
Shocking place! 9/10 the queue is so long you can barely get in the door. The staff/KIDS just chatting away, not a care in the world for customers. The way i was just spoken to trying to get some advice on vape refills was laughable. Telling me they dont sell that particular refill now like im some sort of idiot and should know. Then me pointing out that the ones they “dont sell” anymore is actually on display, for sale! She quickly took that off the shelf. The arrogance in the way she spoke to me was unbelievable. This was around 10am friday morning. Will add that the lad with black curly hair who was working at the same time was more than helpful and polite. Maybe the arrogant, rude (older) lady should take some notes on how to talk to people from him!
Absolute joke of a place. Staff act like helping customers is beneath them—zero manners, zero effort. They call themselves a Yodel Collect+ store but somehow never take parcels. "Cage is full" must be their catchphrase, no matter if it’s 8AM or 8PM. Either they’re allergic to doing their job or the cage is made of fairy dust. If you're looking for frustration and wasted time, this is the spot. Avoid unless you're into disappointment.
Why is this store advertising itself as agents for Evri and Yodel? It is an utter joke. EVERY single time I go there, they 'can't accept parcels' for one reason or another: they're full, it's too dark to take the parcels outside to the storage point, they need the space for stock. They're just 3 of the excuses in the last two weeks. I have wasted so much time on this nonsense. Either take parcels, or STOP OFFERING THE SERVICE.
Main reason I go to the shop is to send or receive parcels (and i always buy groceries when i go), but more often than not it's not a successful trip. Quite a fair amount of the time the evri machine is out of order, which happens... but this evening they had taken the machines down intentionally to process and wouldn't be bringing it online to process my collection. It doesn't make sense to me to take your machines out of action when the store is open for another 3 hours, and then refuse to get the machine online when a customer comes in.
The staff here are nice and friendly. The stock is great! Really good quality items available, and the variety is good. Prices are no more than other large chain convenient stores, the offers are good.
A fantastic local shop with exceptionally friendly and helpful staff! All the usual facilities, including Connect+ collections - at the time of writing (January 2021), the only place in Towcester that does it. Highly recommended.
Wouldn't even give it one star the Asian lady was so rude and very unhelpful when the deals wernt clear she looked like she wanted to fight me and kept telling me I was wrong about the deal when I know i was right it was because she didn't have it in stock the older lady that works there is lovely and smiley and welcoming but the other lady really got my anxiety going and really made me feel uncomfortable i would think twice before going in there if she is serving you will get RIPPED OFF
The lady who works behind the till Kiran Samuel. What a foul person. Horrible attitude towards customers. Had no knowledge of what the shop even had in stock or sold. Made no eye contact whilst I was buying my stuff and was just an all round horrible person.
