I would like to recommend Eateamed in Lewes for their dry cleaning service. The team is always polite and responsive. They are quick to notice which customer has time for a chat and which would like to pay and go. Having their shop next to the train station makes it very accessible for commuters and locals. The quality of the cleaning that was done for my laundry was always great! Well recommended!
Really happy with the new management here, polite, helpful and most of all a great job done. I put a number of coats in which were, to say the least very dirty from dogs jumping up, covered in mud, and the came back just like new. I took them in not knowing if they would except them, but was assured they would do their best, and they did. Great job, great price, definitely using them from now on..
Had a very expensive rug with a stain that I thought nobody would be able to get rid of. visited Esteamed to speak to the owner and he assured me that they could sort it out for me. Can't praise them enough, very reasonable price and very friendly and professional service. My rug looks brand new again. Would definitely recommend. The owner explained that they do their cleaning in their Uckfield branch. Wouldn't hesitate to use again.
I've just picked up my Ted Baker dress, I was very worried due to it being so expensive, but it came back looking as good as new. It was very well cared for and the stain was completely removed! The new management of the store is going an amazing job, I had a very welcoming experience, with friendly and professional staff. The atmosphere was very inviting and the shop smelt fresh and was very clean!! Thanks again for the brilliant service, I will definitely be returning.
The only reason I go here is because it is convenient next to the station otherwise I always go to the other place in town. I don't think I have ever picked up my dry cleaning from Clean as a Whistle and felt it has been a good job. Shirts never look properly pressed - they are always creased as if they have simply been ironed by hand, the collars of some expensive shirts have been ruined/lost their shape (see photo of warped collar), not to mention they are rarely friendly in there. Lewes is crying out for a good dry cleaner who cares and delivers value.
