The store has faced alot of challenges over the last few years, but it has improved significantly throughout this year

No empathy, I have driven 50 miles to get there light and shutter were open and on. But still he didn’t let me get my online shopping. I showed everything I could. But he preferred not to give me a small bag that was ready. Sad

Went to the shop earlier and manager was behind the tills and was doing a great job honestly although it did seem that he was by himself, which doesn't seem effective. I am down seeing friends for a month and I would come back to that shop only issue I had at the store today was the temperature, it felt as hot inside as it did outside, and for people who feel the heat i dont think this is handy for them. But thank you to the manager on at Whaddon Way as he was so kind, polite and friendly towards myself and other customers.

This convenience store has everything I need from fresh produce to household essentials, all in one place. The staff are always friendly, helpful, and go above and beyond to make sure customers are looked after. The store is clean, well-stocked, and organised, making it quick and easy to find what I’m looking for. It’s become my go-to stop for daily essentials. Highly recommend!

I went there this morning. The temperature in the shop is above 27C⁰. All the chocolate sweets are melting when you touch them and most of the goods should be kept at a temperature below the one in the shop. When I got to the till I asked Rose if the AC is working? Despite the fact that they don't say hello, they barely answer when you tell them. She said that I should complain to Morrisons as they were McColl and Morrison took over. I didn't understand that because Rose was wearing Morrisons uniform. Then I asked if they have a complaints book. She said they don't have something like that and I should complain straight to Morrisons. The she added: this is the reality in Britain darling. I am east-european and you can say that by my accent but she had a defiance attitude if not racist. I left and then turn back to see her name on the badge. She was talking with the next customer or her colleague about me. I had my daughter in the buggy and it's always hard to sneak between merchandising trolleys. Today a mug with coffee was left on one of the shelves. There are so many polite people looking for a job. Maybe you should give them a chance instead keeping someone like Rose on the shop floor. And please put that AC on!

Usually positive about most the staff but last time I was there I was refused service for tobacco even though I provided my UK provisional drivers licence, being told it was not accepted ID. Absolute joke

I got asked for an ID when I wanted to purchase an energy drink one morning before I went to work. This particular drink was something I liked to buy and never needed to provide ID for. I showed a provisional driver's license which legally speaking should be sufficient but the lady told me she would only accept it that day and said the store was told not to accept provisional licenses anymore?? Not going there again after that. Customer service is inconsistent and I only know 2 or 3 good staff there and if I saw them more often I would be going there again. But another time I went in to get some beer for a night, this other lady made a comment about my ID and how I looked depressed in my photo (which is fair, I found it funny and agreed but I think it was unprofessional from a business point of view, others may not have liked that being said about them). Honestly, just go to Tesco, Co-Op or the garage - they are much better and consistent with their service and more professional.

Unfriendly staff, particularly on the Post Office. No masks being worn, they walk up close to you, no respect of distance. Unhelpful when you ask for anything. They look like they hate their job and blame customers for it. Management need to sort this out, really going downhill.

The people in this shop are rude and miserable. They don’t keep to Covid precautions themselves, no masks, handle the fresh food without gloves, and worse than that they make snide comments at you when you try to keep a distance or wear a mask. Really unprofessional, let’s the shop down. Your local shop should be welcoming and friendly and this place is anything but. Do a different job if you can’t be polite to customers!

The lady behind the counter is so miserable I had to wait 10 mins to get served with only one other person in store! In the end I had to go find her and ask to pay for my bits, she seems to want to do as little as possible and has zero customer service skill. Avoid at all cost I will 've using the coop down the road as they have a professional attitude to customers.
