Roxy has done the most amazing job. Three days before leaving for my wedding, I was left with a dress that didn’t fit and with some other alterations that had more or less ruined my wedding dress. When I call Roxy on that Saturday morning I knew it was a long shot. She got me to come in. While my dress couldn’t be saved with such a short window, I got to try on some sample dresses and found two absolutely stunning gowns. After I decided she somehow worked on all her days off to get the dress ready for Tuesday. I was a little nervous when I came in on Tuesday, but literally everything fit perfectly! This was the first and only fitting. I am honestly a little glad that the other dress didn’t work out because everything was so perfect about this new dress. I felt like a million bucks haha. Roxy made me feel so at ease. So glad how it all worked out. Couldn’t recommend her services enough!
I can’t thank Roxy enough for the incredible job she did altering my wedding dress last minute before my wedding in Thailand. Due to some weight loss, the dress no longer fit properly and needed significant changes, she took it in beautifully, removed the sleeves, and adjusted the fullness by removing a lot of the tulle, which made it so much lighter and more flattering. Despite the tight timeline, Roxy was calm, professional, and so kind throughout the process. The end result was absolutely perfect. I felt comfortable, confident, and completely myself on the big day. I couldn’t have asked for more. Highly, highly recommend her to any bride needing expert alterations. Thank you so much xx
I cannot recommend Roxy enough she is such a talented lady who made me my dress of DREAMS!! The dress was bespoke and made from scratch based on how I wanted it to be, and it ended up being everything and more. Roxy was so patient, kind and attentive and communication throughout was second to none. Her shop on St James' St (Brighton) is so beautiful with a wide range of designs, even going there for my fittings was a lovely and relaxing experience. I have just spent a week in Sussex on a wedding dress hunt with my daughter. We attended many appointments but without question Roxy provided the best experience of all. The showroom is delightful and Roxy was so friendly and welcoming. I also had complete confidence in her dressmaking abilities. However we did find a dress elsewhere and Roxy will adjust it. I highly recommend a visit to Roxy for any future bride.
Roxy altered my off-the-rack wedding dress to make it suitable for maternity wear by putting a simple and beautiful corset back in it, while preserving the back detail in the dress. It was stunning. She finished a week or two ahead of the date as well, which was incredible because I planned my wedding in 6 weeks so it was all very last minute. I am very grateful to her for helping me at such short notice!
I needed my wedding dress altered at the last minute and Roxy accommodated me. She made a perfect job fitting my dress perfectly that made me feel good and confident. The dress felt comfortable the whole day of my wedding. The inside of the dress did not show any signs of alterations. Given the amount of the alterations needed, finishing the dress in one week I think is so efficient. Roxy is amazing and very kind. The shop is very cosy and clean. The dry cleaning service is also fabulous. I think she got the most affordable price in Brighton.
