“Roxy has done the most amazing job. Three days before leaving for my wedding, I was left with a dress that didn’t fit and with some other alterations that had more or less ruined my wedding dress. When I call Roxy on that Saturday morning I knew it was a long shot. She got me to come in. While my dress couldn’t be saved with such a short window, I got to try on some sample dresses and found two absolutely stunning gowns. After I decided she somehow worked on all her days off to get the dress ready for Tuesday. I was a little nervous when I came in on Tuesday, but literally everything fit perfectly! This was the first and only fitting. I am honestly a little glad that the other dress didn’t work out because everything was so perfect about this new dress. I felt like a million bucks haha. Roxy made me feel so at ease. So glad how it all worked out. Couldn’t recommend her services enough!”

“I visited today (Friday) for a bra fitting with Nina. I had the best experience I've ever had with going somewhere for a fitting. Nina is such a beautiful sweet kind hearted lady and so professional and helpful and friendly. So so lovely, such a credit to this store. “We set an appointment as we were feeling quite overwhelmed with the amount of items we would need to choose, and the information we didn't know (first time parents ). We were so lucky to have had Cynthia meet with us! She was organised and methodical in her approach, as well as so patient with our million questions! We also appreciated her approach to providing us with advice as we weren't met with the typical sales-y way of just trying to direct us to get whatever is most expensive; instead - she asked us about our lifestyle and expectations/requirements from the items we were looking to buy and provided her input based on that. We're not going to buy the items today, but know that when the time comes, we'll be coming back to this store and asking for Cynthia specifically!”

“This is a wonderful shop full of amazing items! I have been shopping here for years and generally never leave empty handed. Some of my favourite clothes have been purchased here! The staff are always very cheery and helpful. Their care, creativity and timing of their seasonal windows and sections/stock aren't to go unnoticed. In comparison to other charity shops in the area I would say this is one of the most reasonable. Also parking directly outside to drop off donations too.”

“Brilliant shop - good quality clothing for the price. Kitted myself out for Summer at very reasonable cost. They sell everything from underwear, nightwear, shoes, tops, skirts etc to nice dresses - also menswear. Would highly recommend.”

“All the staff especially the manager cannot do enough to help you out. It is on a par with the service you get in America with help advise and getting another size for you without having to get dressed and start again. They will always double check if your size is not on display even when they are sure it's sold out. Best branch I have ever been too and the manageress should be training staff. The branch in the town centre has a completely different atmosphere and nowhere near the standard of service you receive in long field road. Huge light store with the feel and attention of a small unique boutique!!! Don't let it change.”

“Love popping into the TK Maxx on North Street whenever I’m in Brighton! It’s a big store with loads of variety – from clothes and shoes to home stuff and beauty products. You never really know what gems you’ll find, which makes it kinda fun. Prices are great if you’re into finding branded items for less. The layout can feel a bit packed at times, especially when it’s busy, but that’s part of the treasure hunt vibe. Staff are helpful if you need anything. All in all, a solid spot if you’re looking to grab a bargain in the heart of Brighton!”

“Visited Holmbush store on 31st October mid afternoon to purchase a pair of trousers for elderly mother (101 years old!). Found pair she liked but too small so went to desk to order larger pair. We were served by very helpful assistant Jane H who told us there were no size 12s available in that store. But Jane did a search and came up with availability in Worthing (one pair left although slightly longer length) so we headed off to get there before closing. We were in luck and able to buy them and mum was very pleased. Thank you to Jane for her extra care and attention to our plight which is not often found these days!”
