Lovely haircut. The place was nice and busy which is always a good sign. 3 barbers were working. Very professional. My first haircut in Buxton and I was very pleased. Highly recommended.

Used to be really good, but in the last year or so it's gone down hill. Gave it one last try today, and had the most painful haircut of my life, literally. The young barber in there was so violent with the hair clippers he was bouncing them off my head!! Then he started with the comb, banging my scalp with it (hard), and scratching my head!! Had to ask him to calm down, and go a bit easier. Was a rushed 'can't be bothered' haircut, like he didn't want to be there and was in a bad mood over something, and took it out on my head! I will NEVER go back, even it became the only barbers in town (I'd travel elsewhere!). Would give it 0/5 if I could.

I like this place. Think £14 is a bit pricey but saying that I sometimes leave a tip as most of my hair curs have been spot on. Love the extra details. The last haircut I had was a little rushed so maybe that's worth considering. Maybe slow down a little. All in all though one of the best barbers I've ever been to.....

Okay haircut, but the young barber seemed far more interested in looking cool than in giving good service to the customer. He was incredibly rushed to the point where he was aggressive with the clippers and razor (not good!). The shop was not busy so he could have taken more time, but instead he tried to do the haircut as quickly as possible so that the customer would leave and he could quickly return to messing on his phone. I don't think he spoke much English but that is no excuse for his attitude and lack of professionalism.

Visited Vegas for the first time. Just needed a simple trim. Cut seemed to be OK while I was there, but not so sure after a closer look at home. The barber didn't make much effort to check with me how I wanted the cut. Communication is clearly not a strong point. It was only after the cut that it became apparent they only accepted cash - no cards or cashless payments accepted. In the end I had to make a PayPal payment which was very painful to do. I also was charged £15 which is a lot for a simple cut. Maybe they decided to charge me more as I didn't have cash! When every man and his dog has moved cashless since COVID struck it is VERY surprising that places like this insist on operating on a cash only basis. Overall my experience was a bad one. Vegas Barber was a gamble. I won't be rolling the dice here again... Further to Vegas Barbers posting / resppnse: For me your response simply confirms an apparent basic lack of understanding of what customer service really means. It seems to me that you are more concerned about dismissing my experience and issues and acting defensively. A distinct whiff of denial. On your specific points: Perhaps you should show more concern over not letting your customers LEAVE with a bad haircut, rather than ending your responsibility as soon as the customer’s foot hits the pavement outside! I’m sorry, but the level of communication skills of both barbers during my visit was poor, in my opinion. I felt I struggled to make myself understood, and little effort was made on your part to understand. Since the COVID crisis I, like many others, have moved away from using cash. Very small shops and traders now accept cashless card payments. This has pretty well become the norm. I don’t really feel I should be having to read the small print every time I enter shop on the high street! As I mentioned to you, I did not have a debit card with me (only credit card and phone) so I could not “go to ATM and get cash”. Perhaps you should investigate accepting card payments as a way of improving your customer service? I’m sorry that you disagree with my opinion and feedback. Sums up your understanding of customer service. No, I will not be visiting you again - even less likely following your posting unfortunately.

Very professional and efficient service. These barbers are proficient at achieving shorter, modern buzz cut styles. I normally aspire to the ageing hippy look. I ended up with something much smarter and shorter. After the initial shock had worn off, I really like the new look and can appreciate the barber's skill.

Very mixed. Seemed all about the experience and customer service, which is great, but only if the level of actual product/service meets with that. Asked price when went in, at end was told a different price by £4 higher. The beard trim itself was not even or well blended with shaping.
