   I visited as part of a work group with bowling and food as part of the experience. There was ample parking outside and once inside It seemed quite busy with a good buzz, but under the surface it was apparent that, considering it was a Saturday there was not enough effort or care being put in. There were empty glasses and containers of food everywhere, every surface that I saw was dirty or wet. There was actually talk of the bar closing because they had actually ran out of glasses, and I could believe it. The actual bowling alley was OK although the layout of the high backed chairs meant one small group is isolated from the other people in your group. Our lane also was out of action for maybe 15 minutes at one stage. I didn't expect high quality food, but at nearly £40 per head the lukewarm insipid burgers were so remarkable in their tasteless awfulness we were talking about them for days afterwards. The chips were unremarkable. This venue could be so much better, and maybe this was an off day? Either way, the evening was flat and a disappointment. This review was written with input from several other participants from that evening.

   Went for a child's birthday party. Slushie mixture wasn't ready for serving (at 11am), no change in the change machines, one staff member left their walkie talkie on a random table and it took talking to three different people to take it back, crane games are a con but no surprise there, would only provide small wooden knives to cut a birthday cake (I do understand a bit why but still frustrating), lighting on the lanes dark so not easy to see, Also there was a fire alarm but no guidance as to what to do from staff (everyone went out main door which they then all blocked because it was raining, so hard for others to get out), saw no evidence of management while there. On the plus side, two of the female staff who were behind the tills were very helpful. I don't tend to write bad reviews but I'm glad I wasn't the one who paid for the party and I will not be going back.

   Great space for games, bowling and karaoke. Child-friendly with elements tailored to them. Adequate parking outside, validation needed if planning to stay for a long time. Food and drinks menu, adequate. Overall, enjoyed my visit.

   Came here for a family day out. Friendly staff and a great bowling alley. Had a lovely time. Great location too, there were some food spots and a cinema nearby. Bit pricey as we only paid for one game, but still a good spot for some family fun!

   My son's birthday party here was amazing! The kids loved the two games, the food, and the fun shaped balloons. The staff was wonderfully patient and friendly. She even helped us with the birthday cake, gathering everyone to sing and facilitating the cake cutting. Highly recommended for a fun, stress-free party!

   I take my client here twice a week. He has special needs, and all his needs are met when we visit Tenpin Northampton. The staff are amazing. Always willing to help and nothing is too much trouble. The disabled facilities are a adequate for us. The new Covid and social distances ruling, has been well thought out and we both feel comfortable and safe while enjoying our game. We have ordered food and drinks and found them well presented. The food is basic fast food, but fills a hungry gap. It can be busy in school holidays so would advise booking. Plenty of free parking. TIME FOR AN UPDATE 2023 So it's been a couple of years since my review and last year Tenpin had a "make-over'. So it's worth a mention. As I am still working with the disabled young adults I was delighted to see they have installed static disabled ramps for wheelchairs. The wheelchair I am assisting with is extra wide and I find the ramps very accommodating. (Saving my back) We now also have gentle slopes leading up to the main bowling area, and the bathroom area has been revamped and looks amazing & modern with plenty of room. New to Tenpin is a karaoke booth!! Although I have not had the opportunity to use it.. it looks fab. The staff continue to be helpful and accommodating. They are a real asset to Tenpin Northampton. The make over of Tenpin looks fabulous and makes for a great day/night out for all ages and abilities. Highly recommend.

   The refit has made the place look so much better and inviting. The staff are always very helpful and polite and make you very welcome. In my opinion the thing that does let the whole experience down is there is no decent bowling balls and the are also in short supply.

   Fab evening, despite having to leave early due to our daughter feeling sick. The manager kindly gave us a voucher for a free game of bowling for 5 due to us having to leave early. Excellent drinks to lane service. Highly recommend.

   Recently revamped. Love the bowling alleys with all the coloured LED lights down the lanes and the lights that change when bowling. Lots of arcade options available, large bar area with pool table. Plenty of drink options available at an affordable price. Lots of bowling balls and ramps available. Easy to use screens too.

   One of the better bowling places.Very clean and lots of variety in entertainment..Good number of pool tables. Downside to this was the triangles were too small for all of the balls. Table tennis of all things. Comfortable seating area all round the places. I especially noticed how well presented and kept the bar was.Spotless.Friendly helpful staff.
