Went in to buy some perfume for my mum and was helped start to finish by the lovely Isla! Went through lots of different perfumes until I was absolutely sure and went above and beyond with her customer service! So helpful, thank you Isla!
Asked the pharmacy section for some advice on ear sprays. One word answers from two different staff, not a care in the world. 18/9/25
What an overall pleasent experience. I went in on Sunday to try and find a razor for sensitive skin. I was looking for a while and everything was out of my budget. A lovely gentleman called sid came over and assisted me. Showed me to the men’s area and suggested a gillet one and just wow. Excellent suggestion. He then gave me a few recommendations for a summer fragrance. Such a lovely chap, as well as all the other helpful staff. Sid deserves a pay rise after that! Will be back again for all my toiletry needs
Took my daughter to see a pharmacist as she has had high temperatures for 4 days. Today her throat very red, swollen and sore. They just said nothing could be done, very dismissive and did not even look at it. Took her to pharmacy in Broadwater who where amazing, had a look at her throat said straight away said she needed antibiotics and supplied these for us!
Check opening hours of the pharmacy on boots website as different (shorter) to the main store - might save you a journey. Large airy retail unit box with lots of displays but not many staff to help.
Staff are rude in the pharmacy, they act like you are not standing there. Zero recognition, no ‘I won’t be a minute’, guy behind me started getting angry as their were 3 people waiting and the lady was just ignoring all of us. Once u do get served it’s pointed rude questions. Avoid
Pharmacy and majority of the staff are absolutely useless There is always i problem when I go and try and collect my prescription I’m either stood waiting for ages. They tell me they cant find it Or that it’s not there - and can’t offer a helpful solution , so I am left with out vital medication They Have also been very unhelpful when my Wife required ad hoc meds for period pains and to Sleep. Questioning and almost refusing to serve me, Until I had to say ‘are you refusing my wife help and care’ If i was you, I would AVOID
A nice store, fairly small for a boots about still has everything you really need. Had to stop by the pharmacy and the team were lovely and felt like they couldnt do enough to help. A real credit to the store. They don't have the same range of makeup counters you normally see on a high street boots, but still had enough there with the perfume counter to probably find something you'd want. While at the back of the store they also have a small range of kids clothing too.
Good shop. Lots of choice. But apparently I went to the wrong checkout and the assistant made it very clear she didn't want to serve me. I felt embarrassed and awkward.
Well organised store. Second time I've driven here as it is easy after work. But directions to the car park are strange.
