Magnificent service. Turned up with a party of 11 after one of the group made a reservation for the wrong day! They did everything possible to accommodate us and we finally had a table big enough for everyone during the Sunday carvery. Food was great and well priced. Everyone was fed and watered with a family reunion totally enjoyed. Would recommend based on the team alone. Thanks all for your great service.

A party of 6, including a resideat at the Premier Inn. Totally understaffed with just two, extremely overwhelmed and taking a lot of complaints from diners. There was one member of staff at the bar serving both drinks and taking food orders. The result was a queue of 6 or 7 people waiting for service. The food was not to a great standard. The Sirloin Steak had a piece of gristle at the end served with burnt onion rings. All of the meals served with peas was cold. The festive meal delivered had % overcooked and refried and totally burnt to a solid state throughout and the stuffing was no better. The eggs from the Fish Pie and Gammon meals were hard boiled. I was overcharged for the festive sweet, but the child like portions were unbelievable . The christmas pudding was the size of a biscuit and thin with the piece hard and unforgiving. The chocolate brownie was also not particularly nice. The only thing that was good were the two serving staff. Hayden and Laura, who stayed on after their shift time to help customers. My bill was £144.40. It was not worth it.

An evening meal that deserves a 5 star review. Wasn't sure what to expect but this Brewers Fayre delivers a good experience, nice friendly staff, and a good atmosphere. Food: Easy ordering at the bar, no delays in food being bought to the table. We ordered the Haddock and Chips and Smothered Platter. Hot food, nicely presented, if any criticism it would be that the steak was a little chewy and mushy peas a bit overcooked but everything else really nicely cooked. The deserts were really good and coffee and teas refillable, that was a pleasant surprise. Service: The staff are very friendly and efficient, our waitress pointed out what was not on the menu and details about the deserts. Table was cleared promptly between courses. The restaurant was busy but the service remained efficient. The restaurant and bar reminded me of an old fashioned pub, good food, good drink and a good atmosphere.

I had both dinner and breakfast during my stay. - Breakfast was good — hot, fresh, and enjoyable. I particularly liked the fried eggs and coffee. It was a standard but satisfying breakfast. - Dinner was less impressive. I ordered a burger and chips for £14, which is a reasonable price, but the chips had a fishy smell, and even the fork seemed to carry the same odour, which made the experience unpleasant. Also, there was no table service — you have to order at the bar, which I’m not really a fan of. On the positive side, the burger itself was tasty. Overall, breakfast was enjoyable, but dinner could definitely be improved.

Telford Lodge Brewers Fayre is a spacious pub/restaurant with a soft play area that’s handy for families with toddlers. It’s located right next to Premier Inn and just a short drive from Wicksteed Park, with the added bonus of free parking for up to 3 hours (make sure to register your number plate using the tablet provided inside). There’s plenty of seating and the space can easily accommodate large groups, which makes it good for family meetups or casual get-togethers. Unfortunately, the food was a letdown. While the prices are reasonable, the portion sizes are quite small and the quality is mediocre at best. Food was served quickly and the kids’ meal was the best, good selection so kids enjoyed it. The interior of the pub feels quite dated and could really benefit from a thorough clean and a modern update. Tables and chairs are old and need changing. The overall vibe was more tired than cosy. The soft play area is a nice touch for little ones, but overall, the place feels like it’s in need of some serious attention. It’s okay for a quick stop if you're staying nearby, but definitely not somewhere I’d go out of my way to visit again.

Food so sad it must have just returned from the funeral of the other half of the tomato. Lettuce tasted like crepe paper and I guess the lasagne was cooked in a dishwasher. Tasteless, dull and as forgettable as losing your virginity. Friendly service though.

I went here to see extended family on an afternoon. It seemed pleasant enough. Plenty of seating. Pleasant staff. Lots of drink options (although could use some variety in the 0% beer options) Food seemed to be good (others in the party ate). There's a play area for youngsters who spent their entire time there so I guess it must have been enjoyable. Easy to find and plenty of parking. Nothing to fault really. You know what you're getting with Brewers Fair pubs.

absolute dreadful, and i don’t say that lightly. understaffed and late food and if you like instant potato mash that’s been standing waiting then this is for you. reality never looks like what’s shown in the menu. i waited…. and waited….. and waited for the second course which never came so i walked out. would have been quicker to get uber eats to deliver it. Noted that roof was leaking and a tray on the floor to catch the rain water leaking from the roof in the middle of a walkway. sorry i don’t recommend at all.

This place and pub food chain (BF) have to be one the worst for food. £4.29 for 2 very small pieces of garlic flatbread with onion. You can see from the picture how small next to standard size cutlery. Really not good value. Main course of sweet potato curry at £9.99 again was on the small side. Accompanied by 1 very small popadom. The quality of both courses was reasonably good. But portion size needs to be 25-50% larger for a decent fair priced meal.
