Quite new to North Walsham and been past this place a few times but hadn't been able to stop. Managed to get there today and it's probably one of my favourites already. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Prices are very good Portions were also very good. And the chips tasted amazing. Will definitely be coming back again.
This is by far the best chip shop i have ever been too! Curry sauce was incredible, chips perfect! The bigfoot sausage was amazing and literally the tastiest saveloy ever! On our next visit from London we will definitely be back!
I can’t rate the staff Highly enough. First time I’ve ever been and mentioned my sister is gluten free. They went to action stations, Washed hands straight away, kept our food miles away from other fryers, utensils and other food. Not to mention they have a large menu of gluten free items. And the food for us was safe and delicious.
Every time we come back (once a month) getting a takeaway is mandatory. The cod is always sublime - wonderful meaty fish in this guaranteed crispy, tasty batter. Usually chips let a chippy down - not here. Always crispy on the outside and soft inside.
We went here on a family get together, and I'm really pleased we did. Lovely food, excellent service, definitely somewhere worth heading to if you fancy some good fish and chips.
Great fish and chips. Pretty expensive but understandable due to their sign in the window. Bit of a wait but that's a given when it's summer holidays and tea time. Happy service and nice crew behind the counter working Thier hearts out.
Fantastic fish and chips! So nice to have such a good chippy in walking distance of our holiday accommodation. Skinless and boneless cod fillets and light crispy batter, chips were textbook too! The giant sausage was bigger than any of us expected. Would gladly visit here again and again. Online ordering was convenient and hassle free too.
Portion sizes for chips are not that good, fish and other stuff to eat are good. The price on the food are a bit high. On a busy night you have to wait a long time, but they do cook to order though so that's good. They have car parking so that's good too. Nice and clean in their so that's good. The staff are not very friendly though so they could up their game on that side of thing's, but all in all it's a good chipy. So I will give it a three star ***
