Sometimes it's better to shop in store rather than online and actually look at what you're buying, rather than just clicking, really helpful staff too
Be Warned They Ask You For Id If You Try To Buy An 18 Rated DVD Or Blu Ray Apparently The Company Operates A Think21 Scheme To Supposedly Stop Underage Customers Buying An 18 Rated DVD Or Blu Ray I Can Understand The Company Operating A Think21 Scheme And I Totally Agree With It But Its Ridiculous That HMV Asks Customers Over The Age Of 18 or 21 To Produce ID Why Cant They Do Computer Age Checks Instead
Certainly one of the best HMV's I've visited in recent times. More physical music than the rest of the kind of stuff hmv sells these days. Well done. Well stocked. Clean. Tidy. Well presented cds and vinyl.
I had a great experience at HMV thanks to a staff member named Hen. He could tell I needed assistance and came over to help me straight away. He knew exactly which CDs I was looking for and took me to them instantly. I asked about a different version of an album, and he was more than happy to check their stock and even offered to order it in. He was so sweet, friendly, and eager to help, it honestly made my shopping experience so much better. When I went to the till, he made some small talk, and what stood out to me the most was that he didn’t even ask for any type of good review from his service. That really showed me that his kindness was genuine and that he’s just naturally polite, not doing it just to be rewarded. Great job Hen, keep it up!
My last visit to hmv was three years ago in Inverness, and before that about 20 years before, but probably in Northampton. Anyway, I was glad to see it back. This store has some nice decoration, particularly the dividers in the vinyl section, and lots of things that would be fun to buy if I weren't an adult with all sorts of responsibilities and a need to eat everyday.
Good place for dvd and blu ray
Got the partner some bits for christmas online he was thrilled to bits, got extra that he doesn't need can i return it to the store.
Lovely shopping experience. Vinyl records in a throwback to the 80's. Plus lots and lots of merchandise.dvds.books and gifts.
Decent HMV store inside a shopping centre complex. Pay meter parking is council managed.
A dying breed of a shop. Had quite a few genres of cds to poke but there wasn't many unusual or depth of catalogue..nevermind. On the other hand there was loads of vinyl, dvds, collectables, tshirts and posters. No ps games that I could see. Had fun browsing around and got a couple of things.
