Great studio. Have been tattooed by the lovely Poppy and received an amazing tattoo. Would highly recommend her. The other artists have some great work on display and were fun & friendly. Would happily revisit.
Second time coming to Heartbreaker Tattoo and 6th tattoo from Nikki. Great location, chilled vibes and fantastic artists! I love how Nikki can turn random photos you send into simple, beautiful and clean tattoos. I can't recommend her enough. Great conversation, felt plenty safe and it's awesome how much time she takes to ensure placement. 10/10 experience
I visited Heartbreaker Tattoo on Friday to get two pre-drawn designs from Alba's Instagram page. Alba was very friendly and a great tattoo artist to work with! She was great at answering all my questions over email before my appointment and was very patient and helpful on the day. The other artists in the shop that day were also very friendly and chatty, so the studio had a nice feel to it and was a very comfortable place to get tattooed. The shop was also very clean and everyone there seemed to take hygiene seriously. Alba is a great artist and a gentle tattooer. Her designs came out exactly as I hoped they would and are beautiful. I would recommend her to anyone who likes her style, and I'll be keeping an eye on her Instagram page for the future! I'll attach photos to this review once my tattoos have healed. Overall I would recommend Alba and Heartbreaker Tattoo to anyone looking to get tattooed in Brighton!
I’ve had several tattoos with Pete at Heartbreaker and would recommend him to anyone thinking of getting a tattoo. Pete talks through every stage of the process with you, making sure you’re happy and informed. I’m in love with my tattoos from Pete, especially a beautiful butterfly. Getting this tattoo was a long process and Pete made sure I was comfortable and we took breaks whenever necessary. He’s an incredibly talented artist and a great person to talk to. Pete gave clear aftercare instructions and made sure he was available for any questions during the healing process. The studio itself has a great vibe and everyone who works there is friendly and welcoming. 10/10, can’t recommend Pete and Heartbreaker enough!

I absolutely love this tattoo parlour, everyone there is understanding and helpful. Incredibly knowledgeable staff will help with any query. I have been tattooed here multiple times by Nikki, and I will, and have, recommended her to everyone! 10/10
Got a tattoo with 3 friends on Saturday with Abbie (mmxnson on insta). One friend came all the way from Durham, yet on the day we were told we had been double booked and asked if we could come at a different time. We ended up being able to come at the original time in the end but although my friends tattoos came out ok, mine was very wobbly and shaky with some lines going far too deep in the skin. Despite this being the first tattoo for three of us Abbie made no mention of aftercare and we were forced to ask for this information at the front desk. I messaged her with my concerns about the tattoo on the same day but received no reply for over a day, despite the messages having been read. I eventually messaged heartbreaker tattoo (the shops Instagram) who were really helpful and obviously asked Abbie to reply to me. Abbie then arranged an appointment for me a week after the original tattoo to touch it up. However mid way through the week messaged me again and asked me to change the time of my appointment. I felt overall having been messed around so much I would rather have my money back and go else where for it to be fixed. In all fairness I have now been refunded my money. However I feel compelled to write this review as I chose this artist based on her many good reviews and really felt let down by the experience. Fine needle / single needle tattoos are one of the hardest to get right I have been told. We never asked for a fine needle tattoo. If the artist isn’t confident with them. Don’t try and attempt it. I would have been happy with a thicker line if it meant it would have been straight. However this was never discussed or suggested.
