Very nice place. Good for all ages. It's really fun and good for family's. I would definitely recommend coming here. We had a brilliant night!
Had our staff party on the 14/12/25 and we booked unlimited bowling and the price for 9 people was amazing drinks phenomenal and food was very nice. The DJ was fun and played great music the bar staff was on point they apologised in advanced as Aldi was also having there staff party that there might be a delay in food and drink. Cannot fault anything but must apologise to the staff as we did make a little bit of a mess but definitely would go again and recommend to other people wanting to party. Also drinks and food was well priced not overpriced and as a result we ordered a load.
Absolutely first class..there was a young blonde lady (I wish I got her name) who was genuinely incredible. I hadn't booked a party booking as such, but she realised very quickly the situation and took care of it. Genuinely impressed by her attitude. An absolute credit to this place. Food was great. Couldn't ask for more
This is the first time I have been in here since it rebranded to Disco Bowl. Just wanted to praise the girl who was on her own doing everything today! The front desk, the bar, the cooking, sorting issues with the machines when not giving out tickets. It actually got quite busy and I was really suprised that she was on her own, although it did seem like there were two higher staff, managers maybe that appeared briefly maybe for interviews. I felt sorry for the girl who was doing everything but she remained calm, with a smile on her face trying to be in all places at once! What a credit to the place! I hope she is appreciated! It was my little girls birthday and she was very upset when we opened the bracelet she wanted with her arcade tickets, and although we had left and come back in 15 minutes later, she replaced it no issues, she made my life a lot easier and kept a little girl happy! For once in the many times I have gone bowling, i've always noticed as soon as you go in the stairs need a good hoover! But today, I noticed the place was very clean! I can see in other reviews that people comment on the food being nice, I can't say that I am in agreement with that, its very bland! But as long as you got enough salt and sauce its fine! The place was nicely decorated for Christmas and my little girl loved her time there bowling.
Bowling was great fun! We all had a good laugh. We paid before 11 am which saved us a good bit. £5pp per game instead of whatever it was. The arcade games were good, however, a lot were out of order including the coffee machine. The food was yummy, with a thin and crispy crust on the pizza, one pizza forever was very air rated meaning it was very puffed and not that tasty. The pizzas were advertised as 2 for £16 but I got charged full price. I questioned it and the barman sorted it and brought me over the change. But had I not, I would have overpaid by £6.25. Overall staff were nice food and fin was great too.
Me and my Husband had a lovely time at the Banbury bowl. Polite staff, clean location. My only issue was we went for bowling session at 12, when they opened and they weren't serving food, it didn't state when they were serving food, but I'd assume that it was from opening unless otherwise stated.
I went with my wife and son to play one game of 10 pin bowling. We really enjoyed the game. However the lift wasn't working and as my wife is disabled, she had a struggle getting up the stairs. Also after the game we were going to have something to eat and thought about pizza. We were told pizza wasn't being served, so we went home and had a pizza takeaway instead. We'd like to play 10 pin bowling here again and hopefully the lift will be repaired soon...
I visited Banbury Bowl last Friday with a friend. It was Disco Bowl night, and the atmosphere was great! Cheap bowling (£8.50 a game per person, compared to £25 for two to play a 40 minute game at The Light), and entertainment as well! The DJ was good (song suggestions were very welcome), and it was just a really fun atmosphere. It was loud, and there were lots of flashing lights and also smoke machines, so do bare this in mind if you don't like any of these. We both had a great time.
Thank you to Molly for her really helpful emails whilst booking my sons birthday. We can’t fault the experience. We were met by Izzy who was brilliant throughout and very helpful. The party room was set out lovely, party bags were great and the food was served on time and without fuss. All the kids had a great time and I want to say a huge thanks to Izzy who was on her own but was calm and fabulous throughout. Thank you we will be back.
Had a birthday party here for my child. Much cheaper than the other local competitor. Much cleaner than it was in past and everyone really enjoyed it. However, one member of bar staff was more interested in playing on her phone than serving customers. She did have the grace to look embarrassed when she finally noticed me.
