Brilliant service. Fantastic quality timber. Ordered PAR Ash and green Oak. Large order for me at almost 2k, but no worrying needed…All exactly as required. No issues. speedy delivery too. Phoned to check on order update and very helpful. Can’t fault em.
I am very impressed with the general quality of the timber, I had an issue with some oak cladding which was my fault and iwood replaced it free of charge which was over and beyond my expectations. I would definitely recommend them as a Green Oak supplier.
I ordered Canadian Douglas Fir from iWood Timber for the exposed joints in my new extension, and I couldn't be happier with the quality of the timber and the final look. The customer service was outstanding throughout the process. From the very beginning, Leigh provided me with all the information I needed to choose the right timber for my project. There was a minor issue after delivery, but it was promptly resolved, which further demonstrated their commitment to excellent service. Leigh was extremely knowledgeable and helpful, ensuring I had all the necessary documentation I requested. The entire experience was seamless, and the end result exceeded my expectations. Very poor quality goods, but with excellent sales service… a real shame that the wood i recently received which was supposed to be of good grade turned out to be riddled with open knots, beetle holes (not what you want to see in green oak) and rotted wood. I also ordered some premium oak which was supposed to be furniture grade, not sure where they get theirs from, but not even oak furniture land would have used it. This was the second attempt to get decent quality wood from this company.I am awaiting a response from them. Last time I had issues most of the team were very accommodating, going so far as to overnight items that had been missed of my delivery. I would love to be able to recommend them just for the service, unfortunately the quality of their wood lets them down. thank you for your responce, I would have left it at my original review if I had not had a email from your area manager, and now this responce, I would like to point out that the choice of wood was made in consultation with your sales team for the first order, and even if it was my mistake it is no justification for sending me a incomplete order, and the wood in that order not fit for purpose. the wood had rot, beatles and open knots as well as obvious indentations from tools which required either plaining down a good 7mm or routing out and patching. this has cost me time money and good will from my customer, I will never be ordering from you again. PS tell your area manager a apologie goes a lot further than attempted guilt trip to take down an honest review. :( If any one wants to see more photos of their "premium PAR oak and Black walnut" feel free to drop me a mail.
I ordered a big load of oak timber with iwood, and found them very professional, fast, efficient and extremely competitive price wise, and the oak was excellent… And also the hauler they out sourced the delivery to, as I came outside there catchment are. They kept me updated to within an hour of the delivery. A far cry from other timber supplies I tried dealing with. Thanks to all the staff at iwood. Highly recommended M H Hodgson
I ordered £1200 worth of cedar on 4th April and was quoted 14-18 working days. On the 14th working day I called to enquire about delivery so I could arrange for somebody to accept the goods and for carpenters to be on site. I was promised delivery on the 29th (the 18th working day). Friday 29th came but the delivery didn’t. I called to ask what had happened and had an incredibly rude lady called Debbie aggressively telling me down the phone that they had done nothing wrong and delivery was 15-20 working days (despite the email they had sent me quoting 14-18). She blamed the transport company telling me a vehicle had broken down. I asked politely for the transport company’s name so I could enquire myself to be told it wasn’t possible to have that kind of information (despite the transport company delivering the wood in a sign written van eventually). Turns our the reason for debbie not wanting to give me this information was that there’s wasn’t actually a broken vehicle but that the lovely Debbie had forgot to arrange the delivery with said transport company. No apology. No offer of a suitable resolution just an abruptly hung up phone. Very profession. iWoods cedar may be slightly cheaper than other company’s but the lead time and more importantly the lovely Debbie’s customer services leaves MUCH to be desired. Buy elsewhere.
I placed an order using Iwood's very useful online ordering tool. This was really great as it allows you to save different quotes. Iwood staff were very helpful answering a my technical queries. I got my delivery for all items, positioned as I wanted using the companies delivery vehicle and crane. I checked my delivery and found an issue. Iwood was absolutely brilliant in resolving my issue being flexible with options to allow me to complete my project. As a customer who looked at a number of suppliers before ordering I would recommend I wood as an all round good company who cares about its customers. Brilliant iwood and hope to do business in the future.
My first experience using iwood, fantastic service from start to finish. Product arrived as expected in first class condition. sales team kept me up to date with my order progress throughout. Delivery via their regular third party haulage company who were courteous and extremely helpful at point of delivery. First class service with 5 star staff. we will be using them on a regular basis. I found the staff quite rude every time I phoned to chase my order, promised twice for a call back which never happened. The only person who was pleasant to me was the lady informing me of the delivery day, she was lovely. It costs nothing to be polite to people! Having said that, when my timber arrived, it was perfectly covered and was of superior quality. I was looking for a new supplier going forward but not sure I want to deal with rude individuals seriously lacking in the knowledge of how to talk to customers.
