   Have been using bulldbase for over 18 years and have always found Chris and his team very helpful, went in today to buy some ballast and cement, also needed to hire some equipment (for 1st time) the guy on the hire side (Ollie) was the most unhelpful person, and as a result they have lost over £300 of business today ,firstly he says he needed a utility bill and proof of identity (15 years as a customer !!) So returned with Oil bill wasn't good enough, so had to get water bill ,then a deposit of £250, fair enough. but his attitude was if you dont like it go else where ,SO THATS WHAT I'VE DONE I think some customer service training is needed for this guy and please dont talk to a customer with your mouth full of sandwich

   This is one of the few places that actually mix paint according to what colours you'd like. It's mostly builder trade supplies but also open to the general public. If this wasn't an absolute must pop in visit to get some paint so our painter could pick it up later instead of us having to carry 15 litres of paint by ourselves whist walking back to the town centre, we'd definitely have given it a miss! Got the paint needed but don't think we'll be back in a hurry. The staff were almost serving us as a favour......didn't feel welcomed at all!

   The first order was delivered on time and satisfactory. So I put in a second order and there was no response and no sign of my order. After a few weeks I sent an email asking where my order was. I was promised my order would be with me in a few days. I'm still waiting. Update:- I have received an apology and explanation and I would like to thank Mr gadd and how he dealt with the situation. I gave buildbase 1 star but have now upped it to 3 stars.
