Can’t rate this shop highly enough! They sell everything you want! And very reasonably priced, much cheaper than the supermarket! If you don’t use it, we will loose it!! And such lovely helpful welcoming shopkeepers x
My wife and I came across this shop by chance and it's a really nice discovery. The selection of products is far more interesting than the usual Asian grocers and we bought quite a few items we hadn't seen before. In particular we bought some very tasty pickles from '777 Brand' The lemon rice paste is supposed to be mixed with rice, but is one of the nicest condiments to serve with a veg curry. We quickly got through a jar and went back for more, plus jars of other pickles. There's a fair representation of goods from Sri Lanka, which makes a really interesting change. They also sell the best asafoetida we've ever tasted (L.G.).
Great an unique place in Stafford where to buy good quality international food from Africa, Asia, Europe and the some from the Americas. You will find even many fresh products such as mushrooms and vegetables. I would like to see more from South America, from Argentina or Brazil but this a good start anyway. I have been a couple of times but will surely return.
What a great shop!
