   Absolutely horrible service. Horrible attitudes and staff. I purchased an item on their eBay website. They refused to hand over the item because I did not have a QR code from eBay. The only option eBay gave me in the app was a "confirm collection" button. So I did. In their app, it was obviously marked as collected. The overly emotional, unstable woman refused to listen to a reason and refunded the transaction on the spot. Remind you I drove 50 miles to collect. So they forced me to pay at the cashier again. It was obviously a ploy to avoid eBay seller fees. So reported to the eBay customer service. Also, a useless manager who never saw a comb in his life was no help either. This is how they treat the customers.

   Really rude man I had rang up the place to ask if provisional license is ok for proof of adress she said it’s ok see you in 1 hour in the store got there was told to go to the buy back section and there was a an old grumpy rude man said you need to get a bank statement to still proof you live there I was so shocked it was clearly discrimination and judgmental when we went told them Never coming back go to cex way better service there

   I brought a pair of Alesis monitor one mk2 passive speakers from here brand new for peanuts. You have to know what your looking for. But make shure they test it working for your own well being before you leave the LEGAL ROBBERY SHOP!

   The professionalism of the staff at this branch is first rate, when visiting the area I had my camera equipment stolen from our car, on the off chance I called in to see if anyone had brought anything in and they couldn’t be more helpful. I left a list of items with my contact details and when the thieves brought them in they managed to keep the items, contact the police and another similar shop in the area to make them aware.

   Damaged 2 of my camera lenses with significant scratches to the glass while inspecting them, refused to buy them. Do not, under any circumstance, hand over any delicate or precision machinery to staff, they are not professional in handling it nor do they care about any damage they cause to your belongings. Edit: As per the owners reply, I can 100% confirm it was the Colchester store. If you are looking to sell or buy cameras I advise avoiding this establishment entirely.

   Cash Converters is a treasure trove of brilliant things, the unfortunate thing is that sometimes their pricing is way off. They've occasionally charged more than it costs to get an item brand new for example. This is a little irksome, asides from that, it's a solid place to get a lot of cool and wacky gizmos.

   Recently purchased some electronic items and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. Very friendly and professional. I have used the shop for many many years and recommended it highly. When I took items in for sale the staff always gave me a good price. Sometimes staff are open to offers and will give you a good deal. If I am in town I will always pop in, never know what you might find. Love it A*
