Recently traded in an old Hayter mower far to heavy. For a new Mountfield SP46 4 stroke. Far more manageable. Happy with service provided drop off and instruction.

Bought a brand new mower off them 3 years ago for £3k Had it serviced with them a year later, they broke the steering, quoted for service prior to collecting it, then charged us more; clearly we had paid for the repair caused by their damage. When I originally bought the mower I paid an extra £40 for OKO tyre sealant. Tyres kept going down on the machine, so I took it to an agricultural centre, they took the tyres off and there was no sealant in the tyres at all. Just taken it for a service to a reputable business as would never go to Market Drayton Mowers again as they are shoddy and unprofessional. What a difference, brilliant service with the new company we are using and will be putting a 5* review for them. Incomparable.
As a repeat customer I am staggered at the appalling lack of any credible customer service from this business. Ordered a new mower and have been repeatedly told they (Giles) will phone me back. The call never happened despite repeated calls and questions to them about alternative options. Have since bought else where with no problem at all. Avoiding this business is recommended.
Placed an order for a mower and payment was taken immediately, then got a call informing us that it wasn't in stock-in fact they are not a main dealer for the mower we wanted. They had to ring around to see if one was available elsewhere. How can you advertise items for sale including reduced items if you don't hold them in stock? We found our mower elsewhere and asked for a refund-this was promised but we had to contact PayPal in the end and it took 3 weeks to get the money back-we would not recommend this company.
