We are very pleased with the refitting of our bathroom. David did a great job of advising what we should have. We had a few unforeseen problems which were soon rectified. Dan did a very good job of overseeing it all and kept us well informed of what was being done. He worked very hard and nothing was too much trouble for him.
Addingtons did an amazing job at designing and creating a beautiful bathroom in our new home. After moving into a house that needs a full renovation, my priority was to change the shower room into a modern space that had a bath. John, Charlie and Steve were really friendly, knowledgeable and hard working. They always talked us through any issues that arose and quickly found resolutions so that it didn’t impact the schedule. Will definitely use Addingtons again. We’re very happy with the end result.
December 2024 After a number of unforeseen challenges Dan completed the work in our en suite in the given time. The work was carried out professionally, keeping us informed all through the process. We are absolutely delighted with the finished result and have been enjoying our new shower on a daily basis. Thank you Dan, David and all at Addingtons. 31st January 2025 The team from Addingtons have just completed our fitted kitchen and we are absolutely delighted. They are dedicated and professional, always coming when they say. High standard of finish and excellent service from start to finish. Great quality. Can't wait to start cooking! Addingtons have provided an excellent experience with our new kitchen and bathroom projects. They have been amazing with their help and expertise in both the designing and fitting bringing our vision to life. Just as importantly the few small snags we had were rectified without question. It has been a pleasurable experience and we would happily recommend Addingtons for any new kitchen and bathroom projects.
Addingtons designed, installed and project managed the bathroom end-to-end. Project was complex and extensive, given the age of the property, unconventional shapes with fireplace, old plumbing system combined with our end vision. Old bathroom had to be fully uprooted and new one put in place combined with new plumbing, flooring, walls, ceiling and new boiler. We attended Addingtons showroom multiple times for design and changed our preferences in several occasions. This was no trouble to David, as he was focused on delivering an excellent outcomes. During the installation phase, there were many surprises (given the age of property), team had to overcome. Although this had an impact on timing of delivery of project, wasn’t an issue for David and Team. Addingtons has done a great job from start to end of project. We now have a well appointed bathroom with high spec craftsmanship. Addingtons were recommended to us, recommend highly for your project.
28/12/22 My wife met with David from Addingtons today, we were expecting the snagging work to take place. They asked us to do a full clean of the floor over the weekend which we did for them, that they had laid badly. In the end, they refused to undertake any work today. Edit 4/12/22: I just found out today that David called my wife a liar (in front of a witness) during the visit. Nice chap before you’ve ordered the goods (with free wine for a good google review), they are very different after you’ve paid.
We've experienced a whole sorry saga with Addingtons since September 2021. We ordered a new kitchen, to go into a new extension we were having built. They got the measurements wrong, so what we ordered and wanted just couldn't be fitted in, and the standard of work has been atrocious. "Handover" took place in July 2022 but they hid issues and mistakes from us, which came to light over the days and weeks afterwards. They lied to us about what work they had done. They have been in a couple of times since then, but the remedial work has been dreadful or non-existent. They are blaming us and the builders. I'm going to post photos so you can clearly see their shoddy work. We have lots of evidence. We had booked them in today to do some remedial work, though on Thursday last week they demanded further payment before they arrived (on completion we retained 6%) they want us to pay the full contract price first – which is over 60k. They are now refusng to work without further payment and the kitchen is littered with issues. Have a look at the photos to follow. and make up your own minds.
Having previously used Addingtons to completely replace the family bathroom...this was phase II, to replace the en-suite and downstairs cloakroom. Again, the initial design consultation was straightforward and made recommendations I hadn't considered, resulting in a better final design than I expected. The installation team were friendly and informative of the each day's work. They also consulted when installation issues arose and gave suggestions on how they could be resolved. As with the family bathroom, I am very pleased with the final results of the en-suite and cloakroom.
The service for replacing our kitchen was excellent and we had as much time as we needed to decide what we wanted. The design gave us ideas we hadn't considered and has proved to be extremely practical. The workmanship is first class and all who came were friendly and considerate. We are very fortunate to have chosen Addingtons.
From initial design by David of a stylish wetroom suitable for a disabled person, through the choosing of fittings, the building of the room to the finished wetroom the Addingtons Team have been superb. Sam & Catherine in the office have kept me informed. The guys who did the build are a lovely bunch, they're polite, personable, skilled & take huge pride in their work. A special mention has to go to Nathan who ensured that the dust & mess which goes with any major building work, was cleared up at the end of each day. The wetroom has significantly improved my quality of life & is a joy to use. Looking at it, you wouldn't know that it has grab rails in the shower or by the toilet. So Steve, Jake, Steve the Sparky, Steve the tiler, Dan & Nathan "Thank you!"
