Went in for a pasty, no one on the tills only self service check out, scanned the first item but didn't know what to do next, a member of staff in the area came across, didn't say a word, grabbed the pasty and slammed it in the baggage area, and walked off, I will NOT be returning to this store

Great shopping experience. So much on offer, at sensible prices. Plenty of parking. Staff gelpfull, and busy filling shelves. I will be visiting the Bournemouth branch when I go. Xmas cards from 80p pack. Gluten free products very good prices. Large packs of bacon, around £4...can't go wrong. We will be revisiting for xmas food. Their flyer has encouraged us.

Cheap and relatively good food. Hate how even if it is quiet they have to rush you at the tills. Every other supermarket you can pack at the tills. I asked the staff and apparently they have to as it is recorded.

Whist there are some good prices in general on a like for like basis I find it no cheaper than Tesco and often the products in Aldi are inferior. As others have mentioned I too, am a bit shocked that Aldi allow staff to chat to each other on headsets while serving customers at the till. I greeted the cashier to which no acknowledgement was given and realised he was in the middle of a conversation to another colleague. This lasted the entire length of our check out (big shop for a large family). No greeting or thank you at the end as clearly the internal conversations are more important here than customers. For these reasons I'll be shopping elsewhere. On the plus side plenty of parking and it was relatively empty which I can understand as other customers not impressed with this and similar comments months ago so continues to be an issue. Update: thought we would try Aldi again after going elsewhere to see if matters improved. Unfortunately not. Same old issues of staff chatting over wireless headset to eachother the whole time they serve customers in store with no acknowledgements. It's quite frankly appalling customer service. I'm trained in customer service at NVQ level and this is service at its worst. Both offending staff, managers and area managers need a dressing down. If you behave like this as an employee you have no respect for your customers or your job so please leave and find non customer facing roles. Managers of the store, hang your heads in shame.

Generally do most our shopping here, including baby items (snacks, nappies) however the special buys section seems a bit chaotic with stuff just everywhere, but otherwise pretty good

It's the cheapest around whilst still being decent quality, honestly if you shop smart you can save a fortune and even if you don't you'll probably still save, it's cheaper quality but you shouldn't notice the difference

Shopping was ok until we got to the till. The female cashier decided that the shopping should go through at a million miles an hour not giving me enough time before shoving the next item. Before long there was a pile of shopping making me feel pressured, sort it out Aldi or I'll end up shopping elsewhere!

Lovely store, great choice. I have had a disappointing experience whilst shopping this evening. The cashier was very busy having a conversation with another member of staff via her head set. I didn’t get any eye contact a hello or a good bye, despite making a point of wishing her a lovely evening. Another customer even noticed & approach me on the car park to say how rude she thought the cashier was. For some elderly customers, their shop may be the only contact they have with another human in a day.! Feeling sad at this faceless society we’re living in.
